This post is not to attack any ones "religion" or "denomination" nor am I trying to create controversy or division in the body of Jesus Christ. I'm sharing something God/The Holly spirit has opened my eyes to and I hope it helps others to see the truth. To God be Glory forever!!!!


Are you aware of the number of different christian denominations that are out there? Some claim there are 30,000 to 40,000 different Christians denominations! Are those numbers correct? I honestly cant say if they are or not but I can say from my own research there are more than I can name or number in this post. Its mind boggling to try to grasp how many are actually out there!!!

Many questions popped into my head one being OK do they all believe the same thing??? Well after looking into many of the different denominations I was stunned to see how each one had there own "statement of beliefs" and how much they differed. In my own experiences with going to different churches I've seen the difference in beliefs and how some people bash one another and will argue about "who's right and who's wrong"!!! There are some churches that actually debate each others beliefs(they can be viewed on youtube)!!! Makes a person wonder about the shabang it sure made me ask questions and seek God on it!!!


The apostle Paul wrote to the people in Corinth obviously some of them where claiming to follow men and some where claiming to follow Christ and there were definitely divisions amongst them. Sounds like the same thing I'm seeing and have experienced!!!!



Lets read it , 1 Corinthians 1: 10-13 10Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.11 For it hath been declared unto me of you, my brethren, by them which are of the house of Chloe, that there are contentions among you.12 Now this I say, that every one of you saith, I am of Paul; and I of Apollos; and I of Cephas; and I of Christ.13 Is Christ divided? was Paul crucified for you? or were ye baptized in the name of Paul?


After reading these verses and seeing the vast number of different denominations these days I must ask the question who do you follow man or God?? Do you follow Jesus of the bible and His teachings or do you follow one of the man made denominations out there???

The bible is Clear there is ONLY ONE GOD, ONE BODY,ONE GOSPEL,ONE TRUE DOCTRINE, THERE'S ONLY ONE WAY TO HEAVEN<<<<JESUS CHRIST

Yet these days there are many different religions/denominations with many paths to Heaven. I'm not buying into it and I stand on the word of God as the final authority..

Am I saying all denominations are bad? I'm not at all implying that !! What I am implying is that with the vast amount of deception that is out there that people should have and pray for discernment on the matter.

1 john 1:4 says test the spirits. READ YOUR BIBLES!!!! Make sure what your being taught lines up with scriptures... In Acts 17:11 the people searched the scriptures to make sure what Paul and Silas taught were so... Be wise Brothers and sisters!!!!

Thank you so much for this post God bless you!...........We as followers of Christ Jesus are the body of Christ ..... proclaiming Christ and His Gospel......Sharing the good news with the lost and with each other, encouraging one another in growth and righteousness for the GLORY of our Lord Jesus ........Ephesians 4:29 Only let your conversation be as it becometh the gospel of Christ: that whether I come and see you, or else be absent, I may hear of your affairs, that ye stand fast in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel; We must not fight each other but grow in faith and love one another for the cause of Christ.............Ephesians 4:5 & 6 One Lord, one faith, one baptism, One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all................. There is division even in this place. The mind of man knows no end to dividing opinion. Yet God is Love. Love is the only thing that cannot be divided. There is only one real type of love and that is of God who is Love (pure unconditional love). But still this is written in just about EVERY religion on earth, and do people choose to invoke God in their intentions, words, and actions? No, they tend to put God above love, which is a contradiction of God in a sense, because Love and God are equally one and the same, they are 'Undivided'. This most basic division, which occurs because of peoples experiences with love and how it hurts them or causes pain, is what creates a world that is divided as people look to self-preserve, and often use God as an advocate of self-preservation against the evils and the enemies (lets forget that Jesus said love your neighbour as you love yourself, love your enemies?). I see it, I'm not sure if anyone else really does. I'm someone who questioned what love was from a very early age, and still do.
