I used to have a pet rabbit. His special talent was learning to climb things after having been befriended by some curious neighborhood cats who eventually accepted him as one of their own. They taught him how to climb a fence that separated him from my garden (you see where this is going...).

Goodbye tomatoes...goodbye Swiss chard...goodbye bird of paradise (supposedly poisonous, but he didn't care)...goodbye palm tree...yes....an entire palm tree...

My cousin raised rabbits... and his found their way out of the cages and over brick walls into the park next door on a regular basis. It was like they had a star-trek transporter... most of the time we couldn't figure how they got out.
