Eh it has its moments.
The series is a bit hit and miss. Some episodes are great, many are good and some are average, even bad (a good chunk of the Peter Pan arc comes to mind - so boring!)

For those of you who do not know, Walt Disney died in 1966. The show fell off and the movies got worse and worse. I believe the founder of Disney was a godly man. Sadly, since his son took over, I have never watched a Disney movie since, and from what I see, I don't think I have missed a thing.

Disney isn't a corrupt entity, and nor will it be. I can't say I grew up with it, but there's really no evidence I know of to substantiate the rather silly notion that it's becoming darker or more sinister. Shows or movies that depict dark magic have to be taken into context, and often involve villains -- which, to the best of my memory, have always been staples of Disney films. The monochromatic dichotomy between good and evil exists in countless venues concerning children's entertainment, regardless.
What about the garbage shows such as "A.N.T farm" where the characters act horribly selfish, shallow and inauthentical (and their ugly behavior is approved by the sinister laugh of the invisible audience)? Are you gonna tell me that that's not evil?

They've suffered a severe decline in the quality of the movies, and animation productions. Their cartoons just stink these days. I mean... it's just pitiful.
Say what? Frozen, Wreck-It-Ralph, and Tangled beg to differ.

^ one of my favourite movies EVER.
It was a great movie, it's crazy that anyone can say Disney's animation movies have been low quality with all the awesome ones that have come out the last few years.

True Christians should stay as far away from Disney as possible. Why? Their shows condone homosexuality. Zoey 101 has two parents for Charlie's playdate both being women. They don't say "that's wrong and sinful to marry the same sex" they say "hey lets watch some football"

I've heard about the new movie "Frozen" promoting the gay agenda, but whether or not that's true, I won't waste my time watching any more of it than I already have, about 30 seconds of my life I'll never get back.

Don't forget about "gay day" at disneyworld.
I'm a "true christian" and our family loved Disneyland when we went in April. In fact, we're going again in November. (4 kids, 8,6,4,1 y/o).

It's not and clear black/white issue, and parents need be sure they've prayed about their involvement with Disney. Either way, they should be respectful of their fellow Christians who have prayed about it and feel differently.

BTW, there is nothing pro-gay in Frozen, and I laugh at the thought of people thinking so.

We went to Disneyland christmas and stayed at disneyland hotel for a week
at night we walkd outside by the water show
we met the disneyland band
they played
they asked if we had any requests.
we said HARK THE HAROLD ANGELS SING

they said they couldnt play tht it was against policy
it had to be a disneyland or popular song

then I knew we were in the devils camp
we left and never went back

Hey all I know is if you teach your kids what's right and wrong threw the eyes of God. Then when they come up against things that make their spiritual alarms go off. They will remember what you said. And yes they are kids and will probably not listen but think of it this way we are children of God and how many times have you not listened and learned the hard way? But our father forgives and teaches us to be better and we gain wisdom. Disney movies are just movies for entertainment. Don't make it anything else or your kids will too. I grew up as a child watching Disney movies and grew up in church. I never thought to myself as a kid anything about dark magic. I just saw good always conquers evil. Which isn't that what the bible is all about? But also make sure to check the movie ratings and make sure your child is mature enough to see that certain kind of movie. As long as the child has grown up constantly bombarded with Gods word and good morals. They also will know what's right and wrong.

Also the bible teaches us not to judge or we will be judged. Everything and everyone is Gods creation so guess what so is Disney. He has a purpose for everything. Its not our role to judge some one who would rather be with man or woman, leave that to God. He teaches us to love and try our best to guide anyone who will listen to Christ. And if they wont listen please dont keep bothering them. Move on and more than likely you planted a spiritual seed in that persons soul. Just takes time to blossom.

Disney is probably one of the most easily recognizable propaganda machines out there. I'd highly suggest anyone to look into the ridiculous amounts of subliminal messages and pictures Disney pumps into their films. I would say Disney is at minimum highly obsessed with sexuality merely just on the basis that they find a way to hide the word "Sex" as well as other sexually suggestive content in just about every single film.

And sadly those are just the lighter matters of Disney's brainwashing attempts. Then you take a little deeper look into Disney and oh my, things are quite dark in the magic kingdom indeed.
I live an hour from Walt Disney World and have been there a zillion times, especially with my daughter. You are correct, the Magic Kingdom is a blast. Tinkerbelle glides down from the top of Cinderella's Castle at night. Is that what you are referring to?

Sorry, just yanking your chain! It is the fireworks in the sky at dark that turns you on, isn't it. Me too. Awesome!

All of my favorite movies seem to be Disney movies.

Mary Poppins
Beauty and the Beast
Sleeping Beauty
Little Mermaid
Frozen
Toy Story movies
Cinderella
Snow White
One Hundred and One Dalmations
Alice in Wonderland

I'm a big kid at heart. I love cartoons. Agree that the Disney Channel is pretty woeful. I remember when I was a kid they had great stuff like Avonlea. Now it's all tween stuff.
I love the Disney animated features. My favorite is Lilo and Stitch. I don't watch the Disney Channel or any channel for that matter.
