Be careful.

I have never prayed for any evil act to befall someone, no matter how questionable their behavior is. You on the other hand have done so publicly using the name of The Lord in the process.

What you are doing is spiritually dangerous. Extremely dangerous.<<<<

Dangerous, I don't think so. You are wrongly discerning what is EVIL. Paul was struck blind on the road... What was the outcome of that? From zealous PERSECUTING MURDERER to ZEALOUS PREACHER OF THE GOSPEL. Paul ALSO blinded the soothsayer... WHat was the result of that? Well a whole bunch of people saw the power of GOD at work and hence repented and received salvation!!!!

So as far as I am concerned, THAT was the second BEST prayer I have ever prayed. I don't feel remotely convincted it was wrong.... better some persons claiming they are saved get struck blind and dumb for three days so they have some TIME to sit in darkness and consider HOW that came to pass.... I realize there are some REALLY SEARED CONSCIENCES walking around but I am pretty sure by three days... once their lips were loosed and their sight restored.... REPENTANCE and GOD's Holiness is probably about all they would wanna talk about... FOR A LONG TIME.... Glory to God!

And further, I do not CARE what God DOES to the OP to prevent her from murdering her baby, If she doesn't repent herself before hand and God throws her in the hospital via car accident... and she is all banged up or has 2 broken legs, so be it. I do not have LIMITS to "whatever it takes"... save for preserve their lives as His will is "He desire's none should perish" but I do not care HOW beat up, broken or maimed the unrepentant person has to get before they cry out to God... but God does... I am aiming at eternal salvation not current carnal comforts.

You might want to work on making those kinds of distinctions.

Wow, have just read all the posts.

I have purposefully stayed away from this site in the past few weeks as I didn't want to read any more nastiness from my fellow Christians but my insomnia has drawn me back. To read that someone HOPES I have a car accident, really????? And your Christian, I can only assume you made your decision a week ago because I'm pretty sure we're not even supposed to wish stuff like that on even our envies, either that or your still in the Old Testament and haven't made it to the New Testament yet.

To all the people who did not judge but offered advice even if it wasn't what I wanted to hear thank you, for offering your opinions in a supportive and friendly manner

To all the people who judged and wrote venom please be more careful you do not know who you are speaking too and your quick responses could seriously damage someone.

Jeff Lucas spoke at our church this year and a story he told was of a young man who killed himself by jumping off a bridge, when they found his suicide note in his apartment it read "if just one person smiles at me today as I walk to the bridge then I will not jump however. If you are reading this then you know what has happened"

basically your words are powerful and could change someone's life forever please be more careful and thoughtful about what you say.

As for the update I'm pretty sure everyone is interested I booked the abortion, refused to pray as I knew Gods answer but how could I turn my back on someone who had healed me sooooo

i confessed to my connect leader who went to a pastor, I have been offered Christian counselling and I made the decision on my own to keep the baby

i am now officially 10 weeks pregnant, I have been referred for specialist antenatal care and I am back under the local mental health services with many people, areas of healthcare etc being bought in to draw up care plans

I am sure glad things are turning around for you and thank God that He is leading you in the proper direction.

Sorry that some have been mean and disrespectful to you, for I know some of our fellow Christians are being lead in a hate doctrine that is very dangerous if they do not change from those ways. A lot of this stems from bad teaching of confusing how to judge with reproving and rebuking another.

They do not understand that reproving and rebuking is only to be done by the word of God when others are wrong in the word, and then it is to be followed up with exhortation and esteeming of the person.

May God always guide your path and keep you walking straight !!!

You knew God's answer and you've chosen life. Good. :) God bless you and may He carry you through the birth without a hitch. Pray about that, that He will protect both you and the baby through the process. Ask Him to watch over you. Tell Him that you put it all in His hands, and that you trust Him.
