Christianity is a faith based religion. So there really isn't such rules on food and prayer like other religions.
"So whether you eat or drink or
whatever you do, do it all
for the glory of God." (1 Cor 10:21)
Here some traditions though based on scripture:
Food~
Saying a blessing over food (Deu 8:10)
Able to eat whatever (Acts 10:15)
Prayer~
Always in prayer (Eph 6:18) *always in prayer is thoughtfully, doesn't mean spending all day in prayer closet (not that, that's not an option if ur lead to do so) its lik passing someone cursing and praying "Lord help them" or needing th Lord's help on and praying "Lord help me through"
God leads us by th Holy Spirit in different ways on prayer. People pray all kinds of ways Daniel would spend 3x's a day praying and I lik 2 try to apply his prayer schedule to mine, but t
here's no standard. Just that it be done and that u follow th lead of th Spirit on how many times u should spend that special one on one time w/ the Lord.
As always it's best to read and study to see what God wants you to know on food and prayer. For me I'm a vegetarian and pray morning, night specially and throughout th day thoughtfully. Afternoons I pray and worship specially. That's just me and what I feel lead to do. No way of eating or prayer makes you holier or better, if ur doing it for works it's all in vain. It's more I feel in my heart to pray for___ 30 minutes today. Or I know I need to pray this morning because I need God to be master over my day and first in it.
God want us to follow His Word and obey by th guidance and help of th Holy Spirit, really that's th only rule
