I have been married for14 years. I have given my life to The Lord 2years after being married. My husband claims to be saved and is even the first to judge me for everything. He has been abusing prescription medicine for three years now. The other day he got violent with our 14 year old son and I asked him to leave. I am scared of losing all our children into a foster care. He does not believed this is a problem and I just want to be free. I know divorce is against Gods word but when is enough enough?

I recommend that you demand he leave until his illegal activity has ended once and for all. If he does not leave, then you must take your children and leave him. You don't have to get divorced, you just have to protect yourself and your children. It sounds like you've allowed this to go on for three years. That was a mistake, but it's not too late to fix it.

If he's hurting your children, for goodness sake absolutely make him leave. He will probably divorce you, but that is his business. For now just get him away from your children. The Bible says that anyone who doesn't provide for their family is worse than an unbeliever.
