Oh wow, then you get it :) it's not so bad, it's just the bible translations, I'm sat there thinking 'woah, that's a word?!' Ha. And grilled chicken sounds real good Jesus Chica, I'm doing a turkey myself :)

We were wanting to do a couple ducks this year but we went to ALDI and they were GONE! :/ So we are stuck with chicken which isn't bad.

Sunrise Service at 6:15 am, pancake breakfast following and then regular service at 9 am. May spend the afternoon at my in laws with kids and their dad, they may go alone. Not sure yet. Kids and I did the Easter Eggs already, they turned out lovely and we had fun. I may see what else is going on in our town that we could join, but don't know.

HAPPY EASTER everybody!!! Praise God for this Glorious Day!!!

Sadly my husband is in another country still, so we will celebrate Easter as we have done other holidays, online and praying power will be on in his country long enough for us to connect and spend some time together. He will probably call me and the family there will get on the phone for a minute or so, passing the phone and sending their love and best wishes. What little family I have here in the states everyone does their own things and acts like an island of their own with no time for others. So I will spend the holiday waiting for my husband to be able to come online for a chat and to catch up on how the family there is doing. :)

Looking forward to the time he can get here to the states so we can be together for all the holiday and special times.

Wishing you all a Blessed and Happy Resurrection Sunday.

I wonder what our Heavenly Father is thinking of our celebration of Him this Easter. It is the most Holy of days of the year, with specific instructions about it from the Lord in Exo 12:14. It talks of it in 1 Cor. 5:7-8. We are told to have lamb for a feast, and told that the Lamb of God died to free us from the bondage of our sins.

I wonder how many of us will be alone this day? How many have families busy doing their own thing and not gathering to bless each other? Or doing easter egg hunts that don’t relate to Christ that are fun but don’t teach children the meaning of this day, or have no idea of the dinner relating to that Christ freed us.

I think of that song “Just a Closer Walk With You”. If any of you fon't have a family to share this celebration with, let's all share it with each other in our hearts and let us extend God's blessings to each other this day!

I'll probably NOT be going back to my hometown as planned afterall. :( I have a lot of studying to do on the best weekend of the year. I may watch a Jesus movie if I don't end up going to church that day.

Hope you all have a wonderful Easter everybody :) and those of you unable to be with loved ones my thoughts are with you. Happy egg hunting to others taking part! I'm just in the middle of trying to work out some clues that are easy for a four year old and eighteen month old, much fun, although I'll be thinking what Easter is all about and how grateful I am :)

happy Easter xx
