My fiancée can’t let go of his family. He’d rather liquidate our savings to make his family happy and live lavishly but he’s unwilling to give my parents any financial help unless they specifically ask for it. He is partial to his own family and often puts their comfort/happiness over mine. Thoughts please.

Excuse me but isn't there a post for him in the same name about YOU NOT liking his family?
I'm confused

if this is your fiancee' avatar this is so wrong of you to invade his privacy and use his cc avatar.
get your own then we can bear both sides of the issue.

Well, just in case they are not bots...

OP, I think it would be best you create your own profile, so we don’t get confused who’s talking. I would like to know your side of the story.

he said yesterday she has access to his laptop

if this is actually her and not the same op playing games, I would run, never mind walk, away from this person

actually, appears to be the same name

and there is also this thread

like anyone here would make a difference anyway if it's real

marriage will go ahead and some time down the road will be back asking 'should I get a divorce" OR 'wife has left me'

IMO, when someone asks those questions they already know the answer anyway
