Hi

Sorry to bug you. I have to admit firstly, I have been waiting so long for God to answer me I have started giving up.

My family is separated now, because we dont have a place of our own, I have not been working for so long we were evicted cos of rent due. Also my child is not attending school cos of school fees. Need income desperately.

However, in my spiritual walk I have stopped praying, feel really cold and dead inside. Cant get myself to pray anymore, and compromise becomes easy when this is the case.

So these are the issues i need prayer about, so if you guys dont mind, please pray with me. Thanks.

Bokfan - Of course I will pray for and with you. I sincerely hope it is with you. I prayed for the Lord to give you strength and a way through this time, that God will provide for all your needs and you can lean on Him and should lean on Him. I pray you don't give up on Him or things won't ever get better, so please, I plead with you and pray for you that the good times are just around the corner, better times, happy times. Remember, happiness is a choice, and I know that's easier to say but know it comes from someone in a similar situation but I would never dream of giving up on God because He hasn't exactly answered my prayers as I would like. I keep on praying for myself, my family and for you as well. I know things will improve but until they do in the physical, material sense, be as Paul was and "be content whether in want or abundance" and the Lord will provide. I do believe this for both of us.

In Christ, I pray for you,
nancer

I remember a message in the bible, (its been a long time, so i forget where exactly) where a man was told to pray for an answer. So he started praying. He prayed and prayed, but eventually gave up. The ironic thing was his prayer was being answered, and the angel bringing him the answer was being slowed by battles, but the man's prayers were helping the angel get through. The angel was nearly to him when he quit praying, the angel turned back with the help of his prayers.
Also, we always consider that things would be best if they happened when we saw fit, but God's timing and plans are not ours. He can see the bigger picture that you can't. It may not make sense now, but that doesn't mean it won't make sense later, after the fact.

Praying for you to lean on Christ in times of trouble and that the Holy Spirit will lead you in your choices and decisions. May He also lift up all of your family members and draw all of you closer together as you struggle to make wise decisions; and that He will open doors for you that will lead all of you into a good place :).

Bokfan,

I just prayed. I appreciate this community. It is slow for me to feel like I fit in, but the honor to pray for others, even as sometimes it feels like my own life is falling apart, this recharges my batteries. You will certainly be in my thought prayers throughout my days.

Yes, will be praying. It was Daniel that prayed for 21 days and Satan tried to hinder his prayers but couldn't. In the end as always God came through. Hope you have a home church that will be a comfort and strength to you and that you are paying your tithes to God's house, so God can bless your finances. He wants to turn everything around in your life. Just give him everything; most of all, all of you, heart, soul, mind and strength. Of course Stay, stay, stay in his word! He will keep in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on him. Have you given you life to Jesus? If not that's the best place to start. Take care. Surprisingrose.

Prayers coming your way! I have been through similar deep valleys in my spiritual walk. Push forward! And should you stumble remember: A just man may fall several times but he gets back up!

The good Lord has healed my cancer. I am eternally greatful to him. I know I have a calling to council people diagnosed with cancer. The day of my first surgery my bible was opened to Jeremiah 29:11...I know he has plans for me and all of you.

Our adversary knows our weakest points. So does our God. Our God is a loving God. More times than not, he allows things to happen…his reasons for allowing what appears to us as bad, is never bad. To us it could seem like the end of the world…there is a key that unlocks us from a bad situation, Gods written word. Read the story of Joseph. Sold as a slave. Imprisoned seven years for something he did not do. How did he react? He cared for the other prisoners. Gave them comfort.
God had a purpose for Joseph, sold into slavery by his brothers, accused, and found guilty of a crime he did not comment. Imprisoned like a common criminal for seven years. What was Gods purpose? To save his people.
Who would not want to be used by our God, even unto death?
Do not turn your back on our God at this time…he has a good reason for allowing the position you find yourself. Talk to him. Submit your position to him. Ask him for strength.
Show him you are his servant, in all situations. Jesus said, “If they do this to me, what do you think they will do to you?”
Being tested in a group is easer than being tested alone. You are not alone. We are never alone. Our God is always with us…have no fear.

Dear tarrance10, my prayers are with you that you are ok and God gives you the strength you need. This is a lovely place to chat and share in God's word and promises. A spiritual family you can lean on. I pray you have access to a bible where you are, if not there is plenty of scripture referrals here, ways to connect. Love and blessings being sent your way, my friend.
