I'm gay. I almost left Christianity but some brothers encouraged me to stay. I had to find a church that was accepting of me. God made me this way, I didn't choose it for myself. It's not fair that people embrace a down syndrome child but they reject a homosexual one. They're both God's creations but one is accepted and the other is not.

You know I used to be a womanizer and had great issue with fornication ...then I received the Holy Spirit of God that empowered me to overcome these lust and sins... Are you born-again, do you have the Holy spirit and do you believe the bible is true?

Were you born a womanizer? I was born gay.
We were all born sinners. We don't use the excuse of 'i was born this way' to excuse our sins. Why should homosexuals get to justify theirs that way? Sin is sin. And we're all born sinners. And as Christians it's all our duty to resist, not embrace, whatever sin it is we are predisposed to.

That's a very interesting way to say it.

I don't believe it was evolution that created homosexuality, but the fruit that Adam and Eve ate. The Pandora's Box if you will.

OK then by that logic you should resist living any further as a heterosexual (assuming you are). Just kill yourself now since God certainly doesn't approve of you. :)

Not really because that would mean we would all be gay, not just a select few. Remember; I didn't choose this as you might choose to kill somebody.

But remember that heterosexuality is not a sin in the Bible. Lust is a sin. Fornication is a sin. Adultery is a sin. Heterosexuality is not a sin.

And also, nobody has to resort to killing themselves to resist a temptation. That's how you resist living any further, period. Not just living any further as a repeat offender of a specific sin; there's a difference. I wouldn't encourage anyone to take such drastic measures.

Not necessarily. Just that we're all sinners, in one way or another.

Not so fast. You're making a false assertion. God did not create sin and He does not condone it. God created free will beings (both angelic and human). Some angels and all humans chose to exercise their free will to sin (hence, the need to send Christ the redeemer for the sake of humanity). You're charge that God created homosexual immorality is patently false.

Live and let live, and if you don't sin at all then pull out specks and throw some stones!

The Bible never ever teaches live and let live. The Bible teaches repentance of sin and turning from it.No where does it say"well we all sin so we can't say anything."

What do you think homosexuals do? God made you heterosexual I assume. Did he make a mistake? But you assert that I was a mistake?

Your choice to engage in homosexual immorality (or continuing engaging in it if you were initially raped by another male), please present your evidence "proving" that you were "born gay" so that we may empirically qualify it. Thank you.

I'm here to tell ya brother, I WAS.

That's a ridiculous response. Really?
