Dentistry is considered cosmetic! If you over 18, theres no free dental care for you. Dentists are painful.

I was a Clinical Therapist for 16 years and I left at the end of a 7-year stint as the CEO of a Comprehensive Service Agency.

The common narrative is that this country (U.S.) and most of the world are in the middle of a mental health crisis. I will offer my insight to anyone who asks.
did you ever teach self healing which includes belief, faith, trust in the Lord, the powers of the subconscious & objective minds accompanied with healthy living as in food & drink intake, exercising, a Jesus like personality & attitude with an extroverted way toward people?

In the U.S., the healthcare system is primarily designed to do two things: get adults back to work and get children back to school. For older adults, the system is designed to reduce the burden on the adults who are working.

A slight derail, but I heard the term " emotional incest" for the first time the other day. Do you know that term, what causes it and what can be done to help a person affected?

I'm an advocate for all the above but my clinical practice was relationally-based: how one's connections with others affected their lives. Relationships were examined in the light of the standard shown to us in Christ. This was an important distinction: while it was common to dismiss the deficiencies of one's relationships in the light of other people-to-people relationships as "not as bad", holding relationships up to the standard of Christ and His body exposed the wide chasm between the quality of relationship that one was experiencing and that of the quality that Christ wants for us.

That's a new one.

I can only surmise that it means when family members give or receive emotional support to and from one another that is typically reserved for marriage. An example might be when a son is told by his mother "You are the man of the House" because of the absence of his father.

There's good evidence that Eve did this sort of thing with Cain.

After Adam threw woman under the bus ("The woman you gave me [gave me the fruit to eat]...") their first child was a son, Cain. Eve said this of Cain, “I have acquired a man from the LORD.”
Although Adam was her man from the Lord, she bestowed that title upon her firstborn son. Murder entered the world through that same son.

what kind of relationships did you specialise in...

mother-daughter? Husband-wife? sister-brother?

I mean what would you say is the most important or one you saw the most of? Mother-son, Father-daughter, sister-sister? Or is it just any kind of relationship.

What is your view of toxic relationships...better leave them or stay in and try and work it out.

All kinds. Typically the first identified patient would be a child accompanied by his or her mother. From there it would grow into the organization of the household, which would bring in the mother, father, husband, wife, relationships. Most of my graduate work was in adolescent clinical therapy, but because of my experience with adults during my internships, I felt comfortable seeing patients from three years old to 93 years old. I even did some work in a behavioral health prison, so I often took referrals from local law enforcement agencies.

did the mother always think she was right and her naughty child wrong, but what was often the cause of this wayward behaviour? Jealousy, neglect...absent father? No grandparents?

Nah, mostly it was because the child was getting into trouble at school. In the vast majority of cases the father was not present in the home due to various reasons. Even when the father was present, it was more than likely the case that he was an absent parent.

what. A case for the househusband and working from home.?

Instead of housewives staying at home, they should go out to work while husbands look after all the children.

Since the grandparents are retired and dont really want to do that job.

How can you be present and absent at the same time I wonder.

Is school not compulsory in some countries. Can you keep your child at home to be your slave?

On farms they used to do that...not as slaves, but workers.
Education is the responsibility of the father biblically speaking...Deuteronomy 6. It was actually after reading this chapter that I decided to homeschool my children. 4 down, 4 to go.

I'm not any busier than most people. I just have more to show for my effort.
so you teach reading, writing and maths?
girls as well as boys?

I often wonder about homeschool girls whether they get as much opportunity as boys or whether parents just use them as maids.

Yes I teach math, English, science, history, Spanish, art, civics, government, home economics.
And why wouldn't I want my girls to be as successful as my boys? Welcome to the 21st century.
