Lynn,
I have been praying for your family. You're a strong amazing woman. You can do ANYTHING! Falling down is not failing.....not getting back up and trying again is where failure lies. You haven't failed.
Peace!!

I feel your tears my wife has just been diagnosed with MS and the insurance company is trying to drop her. Because she needs a shot once week every week and a 3 month supply, the cash price is 26,000 dollars. But I know a man who can and my faith is in Him. Amen
When our money ran out, (all of it, including the retirement money), hubby needed shots at $3500 per shot for 24 weeks. We were living on $839 a month with a $550 mortgage. The insurance company didn't want to deal with the problem until after Christmas. (My last call to the insurance company was on December 23rd.) BUT, the insurance we got was through Welfare, and Welfare had a brochure with lawyers' names willing to give free advice. I used it.

The Fedex guy delivered the shots to our door at 7:30 AM on Christmas Eve. He laughed and said, "Whatever is in this package has to be very important for me to be here now on this day."

(Christmas Eve is the busiest day for package delivery.)

So, get a lawyer involved. One call from a lawyer tends to make insurance companies nervous and magically reminds them what their real job is. (And, yes, all the things lined up too perfectly for that to be anything but God working it out for us. I'm hoping this is the chain of God working it out for you too.)

I am sorry you have had such a bad experience with your doctor. His behaviour is not acceptable. I hope you can ignore what he said and that when you have the time/energy you will be able to find a better one.
