it's become like biblical times again, it's well known that in the Roman empire children were often sexually abused, especially young boys. Nothing new. if you look at the depravity around us today, child molestation, rampant homosexuality and it trying to be rationalized, blood sports, wrestling, every kind of sin you can imagine out there being accepted as normal, Persecution of Christians in the middle east, sounds familiar doesnt it? there is no original sin, it's just now the lie is that sin is ok and accepted, it's the enemy trying to trap everyone he can before the second coming

Mankind is fallen and there is sin in the world.

Bad stuff makes the news. The news will spend days on a shooter who goes into a crowd and kills people or terrorists who blow up a building, but far, far less than 1% of the population does such things. So the good news is the rapists, molesters, etc., though they may be on the news, are (hopefully) a tiny minority.

I see at least one case every week on the local news about men with child pornography, being with under age girls or boys, etc. I believe in these last days addictions and perversions are at an all time high because the devil knows his time is short, and with broken families he certain has his foot in the door with alot of homes. We have a lack of male role models as a result.

My ex husband molested our daughters. We had been married over 25 years when I found out and had been Christians for over 20. It was the absolute shock of my life; never ever would I have even imagined he would even entertain the thought of doing something like that. He didn't come from a broken home. It has been almost 10 years and I still cannot figure out what happened to him. The detective from sex crimes told me it's not about sex, it's about control.

I'm very nervous and shivering when i looked at the replies with shocking and tortured experiences, articles. But i always love to mention the book about Hosea and a lovely verse. Hosea 2:14.
1. For Addicted/ Bounded with Lust: Realize - Repent - Renew your mind body and soul and LOVE GOD utmost daily.
We all know that the resource of all kind of sin is from satan. Its so sad to say that many young people are utilizing his services and resources these days. They have their own names, ideas and ways in enjoying the illegal sexual desires and bad stuff and being a part of crime. Its the big net laid by satan to catch the young big fish, boys and girls, men and women. Satan uses this nature of sex attached with pornography, nudity, illegal sex, blue films... to lead them to sin to destroy the minds, bodies that keep our young men away from God. But we have an ultimate Savior who can take us up from all kind of filthiness and dirt. His blood makes us pure as white as snow. Isiah 1:19.
One who was deeply stuck in this Sexual Mud can be a great ROLE MODEL to everyone if he comes to Jesus. Because he can alone be the better textbook, material, resource of how to overcome this. His tormenting bad experiences can bring sweet memories to him once he stand up for GOD and ready to testify. He can be a blessing to many in real life.
We wont call for savior unless we need help. God will forgive them who calls for him. Those who addicted with bad stuff will be set free. Those who bounded will have their freedom in the Lord. Those who were broken shall be bonded back. As nothing is impossible with our God. But its very hard to digest and get be like before and hard to renew our mind those who stuck with this.
Those people once if they cling unto the Lord and have a blessed blissful life.
2. For being Tempted/ Loose : Look - Love - Live for God every second of your life
Teach thy ways of upright that one shall walk to thy boy when he was little , later he shall not be departed from it when he's young. You will surely overcome temptation as Jesus being overcame everything by leaving his life as a great example.
LOVE GOD utmost. Focus on him alone. Sex is created by God and it is holy. So being a child of God you should utilize that in a holy manner rather than in a horny way. If you Love God , you'll reject the world. If you reject the world Sin hates you. If Sin hates you. GOD loves you.

Amen

it also used to be the "norm" to take care of those who molested children, there wasnt all the junk put them in jail for 30 years etc, they were eliminated to protect our kids, as they should have been, a predator is a predator. I can't fathom how someone can look at a little kid and do something like that.

REALLY? Have you been watching too many episodes of Gladiator by any chance?

Rome was not the sexually depraved society that Hollywood portrays. People pick up on the few recorded accounts of the depraved acts of emperors and the famous recorded by historians who wanted to demonise certain Emperors and of course Nero was proberbly the most depraved of the lot.

Boys were not systamatically abused, please give me sources to support this, I have not come across any. Rome being a huge city had its dark and murky side just as all cities do, such as Pompeii which has its infamous brothel. Roman society in general was very conservative when it came to sex and one certainly did not speak about sex, it was not sexually immoral which you have been brainwashed into thinking it was.

Homosexuality was also a criminal offence, it went on and rumours were made, but it was never made public, the scandal would destroy a man.

Sexual sin and immorality is not really supporting "as in the days of Noah" there was a lot more going on in the days of Noah than sexual immorality. If you looked up a bit more on the History of Roman Empire and Noah, you will see thousands of years seperate the two.

Everyone is responsible for their own actions. There are sinful behaviors that men should no fall into just as there are sinful behaviors that women should not fall into. The things that men fall prey to are--on the whole--no worse than those that women fall prey to.

This thread is about the things that men do that seem so very terrible--and they are--but the terrible things that women do--on the whole--are more hidden from view.

God tells us that all sin is worthy of death. While one type of sin may seem more heinous than another to us, all sin separates us from God.

I don't say this to minimize the heinousness of any sin. But I am reminded of an answer that Dr. Martin Luther King gave to Dan Rather. Dr. King said that the problem of racism was just as bad in the northern US as it was in the southern US. The question was why was the civil rights movement centered in the southern states. Dr. Kings reply was that the behavior was more out in the open in the southern states and therefore easier to bring to light and change. I submit that the the heinous behavior of women--on the whole--is more hidden and therefore harder to root out. It's the same problem with drugs in minority neighborhoods and in majority neighborhoods in the US. There is just as much drug abuse in both kinds of neighborhoods but it is more out in the open in the minority neighborhoods.

Let me enlighten you with one word: Desensitization.
And a second word: Hardened heart.

Now lets do some simple addition why don't we?
Desensitization + Hardened heart = atrocities (like rape/killing/etc.)

This terrifying combo is what i think turns nice boys into MONSTERS.

i hope i dont upset anyone with this post but its something i really feel i need to get some feed bk on.

men... why does sexual sin happen, in that its in the news alot lately, on men raping under age girls, killing little girls or abducting them. catholics with the rape of young boys. i just dont understand how on earth men get it in there head that these things are ok. why SOME men feel its ok to over power everyone in frount of them to degrate and make the victim feel degrading and mentaly scared for the rest of there lives, while they walk around thinking its a normal thing.

is it because young men arnt told to respect other people now, or is it a fact of life.
is there anything in the bible to why?
what can we do about it?

God bless x
And while you specialize in the sin of one sex,
why are all these female teachers convicted of raping their teenage boy students?

What can we do about it?
Why put all these evil women in their place!

Ask any social worker who handle cases related to abuses to children and who commit the most horrific crimes against their children, and they will tell you - the mothers. Women by far commit the most abuses against children and the numbers will speak for themselves. The media, more or less, give them a free pass because the news isn't as profitable with women as it is with men. I worked with the Dept. of Social, Services and read many files regarding abused & neglect children, and women will win the award every time. Most of the abuses are committed by women. The most horrific abuses are committed by women. When it comes to numbers ... it is women 80/20.

On a different note: The pharaoh's wife want to have sex with a young Jewish lad name Joseph but he avoided her advances and rejected her. She was furious and sought revenge on Joseph by telling her husband that the young Jewish lad had 'raped' her and wanted him put to death. That story is in the Bible.

The status quo allows many women to play the victim and give many of them a free pass on the issue of abuse in regard to children & men. As you can see many of these women are sounding very bitter about it even though they are raising the majority of their children as single mothers. Translation: Their hands aren't any cleaner than the men or fathers.

[h=1]Increase of Wickedness

There is a pattern of lawlessness dominating our society more today, that throughout history was found in civilizations in the process of decline. It is a pattern evident in nations that rejected God's Word as ultimate authority in their lives and is a pattern prevailing in many Americans today. Scripturetells us that...[/h] Because of the increase of wickedness,
the love of most will grow cold. [Matthew 24:12]

I believe the worlds rejection of Christ's lordship is the reason behind all the bloodshed, violence, racial hatred, moral decay, drug abuse and outbreak of deadly sexual deceases in our society. Lawmakers, educators and the media have made God an unspeakable subject. Even in prisons, there is a ban on religious motos, including the ten commandments. Even worse, many of our churches no longer exalt Christ as Lord and king.

But sex and all the meanings of sex is going to increase before Jesus comes back. and this is what we are now seeing.

That takes the conviction in their own heart, by God to them by The Holy Spirit of truth, through the believer you think?

Sampson and Delilah? And the allegory of the temple destroyed came into play as God uses all things to turn us to trust God ultimately, first our own self convicted of the need for God to lead

It's not only men love...the stigma is false, and only because men are physically stronger, and the women considered the weaker species that "MEN" make headline news. Everywhere in the world, support groups are sprouting up for Sexually or mentally abused men. More and more cases are reported where mothers are the abusers.... its a misconception that generalizes that Men alone are the culprits in this evil world we live in.

I work with a support Group "Fathers for Justice" and abuse reported by fathers was a real eye opener.

One thing I know for sure...

Amen and welcome aboard it is not to be singled out for anyone to be prejudice, as another one better than another
We are all in need to be saved and to remain in humility for our need to love as God does love all for us all to change our minds from not having compassion to compassion for our fellow neighbors, As it is pointed out in Luke
[h=1]Luke 10:30-35Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)[/h][SUP]30 [/SUP]And Jesus answering said, A certain man went down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and fell among thieves, which stripped him of his raiment, and wounded him, and departed, leaving him half dead. [SUP]31 [/SUP]And by chance there came down a certain priest that way: and when he saw him, he passed by on the other side. [SUP]32 [/SUP]And likewise a Levite, when he was at the place, came and looked on him, and passed by on the other side. [SUP]33 [/SUP]But a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed, came where he was: and when he saw him, he had compassion on him, [SUP]34 [/SUP]and went to him, and bound up his wounds, pouring in oil and wine, and set him on his own beast, and brought him to an inn, and took care of him. [SUP]35 [/SUP]And on the morrow when he departed, he took out two pence, and gave them to the host, and said unto him, Take care of him; and whatsoever thou spendest more, when I come again, I will repay thee.

So to say you have Faith and by pass what God puts at your gate is not true Faith is it as:
A good revealing story in Luke 16:19-31 About God putting things in front of us to do, and whether we listen and do or not, So why did the rich man (who is unnamed) so could be me go to hell?
Was it for not feeding Lazarus, whom he consciously new needed help and consciously did not help, and only helped those he chose outside his gates. I mean he did good works right?
So did he go to hell for not being good enough or for not listening to God who put Lazarus at his gate to take care of?

Amen to you Sister for doing what you have been called to do

Women need to understand something about men. It makes them much easier to understand when it comes to sex.

God gave men enough blood to operate their brains and sexual organs. But not enough blood to operate both at the same time.

I'm sorry but that's the kind of bull that we get from society. Why encourage it?

The concept of society itself is bull.
