I'm a young widow (28y/o). Hubby died 3months ago but I'm still suffering from loneliness until now. I need some Christian friends to talk to. Someone who can encourage me that's why I decided to join into this forum. There are certain emotions and thoughts I can't say on the people surrounding me so I need a place where I can vent out my emotions. Someone who don't judge me nor what I feel simply because they don't know me personally.

Thanks! Godbless us all.

Thanks Bate!

By the way, just want to share with you guys. Hubby and I have 3 kids. Our youngest is just 2months old when he left us and that's what makes this heartache so unbearable. Eldest is 4. In time, hoping I'll be able to accept everything with a smile on my face for I know there's a purpose in everything though I honestly don't see it now. In everything give thanks though it's hard to understand why certain things are happening in our lives sometimes...

Hi, James himself said true religion is this, which is to take care of orphans and widows and stay away from the world's evil influence. I believe that implies orphans and widows are beloved of God. God will surely bless you with many things as you grow in your relationship with Christ. I hope the best for you, and may God shine the light of Peace on you forever.

Hi Adonaios, Amen to that! Though honestly, I can't see it now. In all honesty, there are so many questions in my mind these days and I'm still praying to God to please enlighten me. Losing hubby might be the hardest struggle in life I've experienced yet. I consider this as the worst since we are one right? It's like losing myself also but I need to be strong for the sake of my kids that's why I cling to this verse always - Psalms 68:5.

Yes, 3 kids actually. Eldest is 4, youngest is only 2months old when hubby left us. This youngest don't even know who is her father is. Not a glimpse nor a memory since she's so young when her father left.

I have 3 also!! My 4 year old never met my grandma who was very special to me, I keep a picture in my room of her and my daughter now knows all about Jesus and where "granny" whom she never met is. So don't feel too bad, keep his memory alive and teach your children where he is. My daughter talks about how she can't wait to go to heaven and really meet her..she gets so excited when she talks about it like a child not being able to wait for Christmas. It's amazing how strong children's faith can be. I waited too late for my older kids and they aren't as convinced as her but I'm getting them there.

Hello and welcome.. Your OP is more appropriate for the Family forum. I could ask a mod to move it for you. :) You will receive alot more replies, because the new members forum is only for introducing yourself and not many people come in here..

Sounds good and a great inspiration too! Thanks for the idea.

Actually, when my kids are asking where their father is, I just simply tell them that their father is in heaven with Jesus. Then the eldest will asked me certain questions like: Why Jesus doesn't allow their Father to come home because they are missing him so bad? Why Jesus take their Father with him in heaven? Those questions which me, myself can't answer also so I just hugged them. They are too young to understand everything that's happening in our family.

You're welcome.. I'll ask a mod to move it for you. :) Oh and btw, there's a women's forum here. It takes newbies a week to be able to access it though, but it's pretty awesome. :)

True!

Anyway, just want to appreciate your existence. I feel happy I have someone to talk to now...at this moment...that I usually spent thinking about hubby for the last couple of weeks. It's really good to have someone to talk to so thank you! Thank YOU!
