Facebook is trying to push the 1619 project again as the foundation for critical race theory. A project ridiculed for its inaccuracies and a theory centered on promoting racism/ division just as the socialist is taught to do.

Sadly, the pop culture, leftwing media, and Hollywood have adopted such thinking. It has infiltrated every school system either by curriculum or children who have given way to the cultural peer pressure.

The peer pressure, affirmation seekers, and the glorified portrayal of the LGBT community have pulled in much of our youth. The stuff I hear out of the public school is ridiculous.

One of my children, for saying they believe in the Bible, automatically labeled them as homophobic or even racist. To the point of alienation.

The state of our culture, while glorifying evil, has also fallen into a pandemic of loneliness, depression, drug use (overdose), anxiety, and an identity crisis.

Of course, we have to ask ourselves as Christians, are we looking for the affirmation of humanity or God?

Almost every prophet, every disciple, and Jesus himself were alienated for their faith. If we stand on the Word of God, we should count ourselves worthy if we also experience what they experienced.

It isn't easy as friends will be lost, the family may ridicule you, and of course, the culture will alienate you.

But I promise if you hold faithful to the Word of God, there will always be a remnant of believers. You will never be alone as you will have gained the army of the Lord.

When Peter stood before the Sanhedrin and declared they would follow God rather than men. He took a position on the hill he had chosen to die on if necessary.

We are only messengers or those who speak the Word of God as written in the Bible. The Bible defines, therefore God defines what is evil and what is good, what is immoral and what is moral. A universal objective standard is even evident at the birth of every child. It is not I that says what sin is and what is good but God. We only repeat the Words and let the Words judge the soul, try the hearts of humanity, and penetrate the mind to bring forth either rebellion or belief.

Sin is evident by the destruction of society it brings. This can be shown through sociology, science, data, and the testimony of those who have trodden down the path of destruction.

well facebook is not the be all and end all of life
People coped perfectly well without it before it was invented.

Before people signed into facebook, they signed into their high school yearbook, maybe had a reunion after ten or twenty years and then promptly forgot about it.

Agree. Unfortunately they have the influence to even swing elections as they not only filter out right wing content but also spend tones of money to promote candidates or strategically place mail in drop boxes within blue counties.

before facebook they had this thing that got passed around called a slambook where people wrote about each other and left comments

in some highschools they were banned because people would write NOT nice things. I think techonology can exacerbate or show up human behaviour its not the cause of it though.

peers can build each other up or tear each other down. Life and death is in the power of the tongue.

we must cultivate kindness...love never fails. In the Bible Stephen was stoned but even when he was being stoned for being faithful he would say dont charge them and forgive them.

Facebook! I think it started as a social experiment that's gone horribly wrong.

Facebook and Twitter should have been boycotted by every Christian already. And it is not too late to do so.
