Uhhh...not to get personal, but did your reinstatement come with any sort of stipulations? You're acting like Old Rick again.
Huh? I'm not sure what you're getting at. Reinstatement? Stipulations? Or does your post refer to knowledge from a separate thread?

Stop calling him Rick.
I am Rick, he is Richenbrachen (We are two different people).
- - - But carry on with your bad self.
I'm sorry, Rick. I wanted to use the other nickname for Richard but figured I should use the one that starts with an "R."

I took it as a prophecy.
Thy kingdom come, thine will be done,....on earth as it is in her imagination.
- - - But until then,.......carry on with your bad self!
- - - - (Play Missy for me) - (Oh!!!!!!????, I misspelled your name back to you; ......guess that must make me an especially evil white male.)
So bullying is tolerated in the forums. Good to know.

Nobody liked that post. I think that's a good indication that it was unsupported by others. As for bullying, unfortunately, debates do sometimes degenerate into ad hominem attacks. It doesn't really mean bullying is tolerated. Just sometimes people get a little emotional. Don't take it personally.

As for my name, its actually Richenbrachen. But I'm cool with Rick, too. I've been called worse. :D

if anything at least this thread has become a roadmap to separate those who hate women from those who view them as equal creations in christ

I haven't seen anyone say they hate women, or that women are not equal creations in Christ. :| If I saw that, I would probably comment, because it doesn't seem to be a very Christ-like attitude.

Remember, however, that equality is not equivalence. One is a measure of value - the other a measure of purpose. Men and women are equal, but different.

Look for a non-feminist. Feminism has destroyed most women in Western nations. There's plenty of real women overseas. The non-feminists in Western countries are usually (quickly) married. ;)
Thanks! The thing is not being married but having God as guide to find the best I could fit her needs and, considereing money (as a trouble maker) I better keep as surviving to some sort of loneliness and emptiness. I spent my whole life seeking the right one (not being the best for someone) so I leave this with the HOPE that love be somewhere found in heaven (if God takes me HOME, one of these days).

yeah, but, how are any of us gonna get to know you with that thing?
How nice! But I haven't seen a reason to ignore you. :)

The only reason I would ignore someone is if they are being verbally abusive. That includes belittling, name-calling, intimidating, shaming, bullying, objectifying, threatening, or other demeaning speech. I don't need to people in my life who treat me as less than human or mock me. And these two males are well passed being old enough to know how to express a differing opinion without being cruel. But I can't totally blame them. It's just a result of the sexism that has been allowed in Christian spheres for way too long. They have shown their true colors, so I have nothing further to do with them.

Proverbs 9:7-9
7 Whoever corrects a mocker invites insults;
whoever rebukes the wicked incurs abuse.
8 Do not rebuke mockers or they will hate you;
rebuke the wise and they will love you.
9 Instruct the wise and they will be wiser still;
teach the righteous and they will add to their learning.

I have a question for the men. I've noticed that in some churches, it seems that more and more women who are on praise teams, or wives of pastors are starting to wear Skinny Jeans/Pants, or strapless dresses during church. As a man, does this cause you more problems, or are you not really even affected by this?
For the most part it does not bother me, but it might on occasion. I think a woman can be dressed inappropriately if the bare too much cleavage, underwear (thong), showing lots of skin and looking more like a prostitute then a modest woman of the Lord. I would never ask a person to leave because they were improperly dressed either.

I would have a problem only in the sense that it takes away from your whole attention from learning about God for the service, you will constantly be distracted by that woman. I really don't care what any man on here says cause they are just lying to themselves. If a beautiful woman comes in half naked or i should say provocative, it will distract a man no matter what.

As a man, I think skinny jeans, strapless whatevers, stripper boots, mini dresses and anything else a woman can wear to show off her stuff is great! That's why I go to a church where the preacher preaches against women dressing like harlots..

This is a by product of the teachings coming out of the false Church system today, there is no holiness, seperation, or modesty in most churches today, plus no fear of God!
The church is la la land I am afraid, and the immodest dress of women is just the tip of the iceberg in the modern contemporary church today.
The church is supposed to be an example for the lost world to follow, not for the Church to mold itself to the world, I blame the pastors and thier watered down gospel, telling thier members they are saved in thier sins, Jesus is thier cover, and thier behavior has no effect on thier final salvation, what a shame, you have to write a thread such as this.
No one in the church today is truly repenting, as the whole city of Nineveh did, Jonah Ch3, and most are wallowing in many sins that will disqualify them from inheriting the kingdom of God.
1Jn 2:15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
1Jn 2:16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.
1Jn 2:17 And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.

Those who profess Christ, and dress immodestely in any way, tempting men,(or women) should be ashamed of themselves, and need to go back and do thier first works, Rev 2-5...

A truly converted follower of Christ, wont be dressing in any way that is displeasing to God!
AMEN! and AMEN!! and AMEN!!!

you might want to warn people before viewing that video. I'm on a computer from my office, and I'm really hoping I don't get in trouble.

I agree. I wasn't sure whether I was just too old-fashioned, but since your comment, I have reported video (hopefully for deletion). I didn't hear anything wrong with the words whilst I watched (partly), but I stopped watching because the images are pornographic.

Waaahhhh! Report prudishness. (Honestly........)
So you think it's alright to have pornography on a Christian site? Or you don't think it's pornography?

I know people can get access to that sort of thing whenever they want on Youtube, I just thought 'cause this was a Christian site, some men might be tempted to watch what they normally wouldn't go searching for.

You'll have to give me a more detailed response than you have, if you want me to understand your position! :D
