But understand this, that in the last days there will come times of stress. For men will be lovers of self, lovers of money, proud, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, inhuman, implacable, slanderers, profligates, fierce, haters of good, treacherous, reckless, swollen with conceit, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God. (2 Timothy 3:1-4 RSV) Holding the form of religion but denying the power of it. Avoid such people. (2 Timothy 3:5 RSV)

Too much scripture has been shaped to fit our society nowadays I think sometimes we need a wake up call and this scripture did it for me just though I'd share

Bless your heart Brother. Salvation is daily, and a way of life. Being born again is the beginning of that way of life. It is to be transformed into the image of Jesus. He'll do in you what you desire according to His will. There's a lot I can't do for His glory, but if I ask, He makes it possible to do in me what I can't do myself.

Romans 8:29 (KJV)

Joshua 24:15 (KJV)

I'm sure you didn't need to be preached to, kinda superfluous on my part. Just sharing.

lovers of pleasure that is a good one. I believe in America many serve the entertainment god.
