The weather is warm, vacations have started, you're 50 miles from your desestination--and chances are
you're not thinking what could go wrong. 🤔

While no one can plan for car trouble, in emergency situations, it is helpful to have some preparations in place.

Prepare your car so you're ready for anything.

Stock your car with these basics:
1. Flashlightht with extra batteries
2. Basic tools such as a screwdriver, wrench, utility knife
3. Gloves
4. Rope, Bungie cords
5. Bottled water
6. Warning triangles
7. First-aid kit
8. Portable phone charger
9. Light sticks
10. Jumper cables

And, it is advised to check out different things,
Replace water in radiator..if needed
And battery..as needed.

In winter carry a blanket.

Enjoy the trip! 🏜️ 🏖️🌉

I used to work for a company 15 years ago, where every 7 years they gave you 2 months off. They called it a 'Sabbatical'.
They also added 4 weeks of vacation so they got a total of 3 months off. So what almost everyone did, was a cross-country tour in US and they showed us pictures of their tour. It was great to see that. I didn't stay 7 years at that company, i quit after 3 but that perk is what kept a lot of people there.
I would love to do this someday.

Start on the Northeast, drive through the northern western part, reach the other side, drive down, drive back to the southern east and then drive back up. Nice and slow for 3-4 months.

It'd be wonderful.

I've only done the east coast drive so far. Drove to Florida non stop from Boston and it took me about 18 hours with some nice stops along the way.
