I was curious if anyone has any funny/happy/memorable wedding moments to share?? From your own weddings or a wedding you attended?? I want to hear them all!!

I just remember how perfect the weather was my wedding day...72 degrees and a beautiful blue sky. My husband was so nervous and happy at the same time. I had stayed up late with my best girlfriend asking her over and over again, "Can you believe this is happening? I'm getting married tomorrow!I -AM-GETTING-MARRIED-TOMORROW!"

judging by the post dates on this thread, i would imagine christianrkchk is enjoying newlywed status with her new helpmate! congratulations on the nuptials and i wish you all the best in the years to come!
as for my marriage, we were (and, quite frankly, still are) struggling a bit financially, so we had a low-key, inexpensive wedding with a small number of close friends and family...it was a great day, though...except for one point, when my bride-to-be was supposed to be walking down the aisle and...she wasnt...
everyone was waiting and i was asking myself if i had done anything abnormally stupid or insensitive to make her get cold feet...
in the end, though, she and her bridesmaids had left home without the flowers and the wedding was back on track...the next day we embarked on the most memorable trip to disney world for a week...and we've been praising God for putting us together ever since...
i guess that could possibly qualify as all three in your funny/memorable/happy prerequisites...

Oh my goodness Stofer!! That will definitely be memorable! Haha my husband said something to the effect of "don't wait too long to enter!!" haha! 'cause he doesn't like being the center of attention to begin with and it would make him extra nervous if I was waiting too long to come in!
And with that being said, yep! I'm definitely married now!! 2 weeks today! It's been a good learning experience and just a great time so far! Sharing a bed with someone again after many years is different! But luckily neither of us snore

I had an outdoor wedding and a pig-roast picnic supper. Our wedding cake was strawberry shortcake, which was great. The funny part, though, was that the catering company roasted the pig at the park, then cut it up and served it. To this day my 13 year old cousin does not eat pork because she was so grossed out! Oh well, everyone else thought it was delicious!

I have a wedding story that is incredibly spiritual, deep and also was overwealmingly tragic to begin with.It showed testament, betrayal, greed, arrogance,hate, thiefery and many other horrible calculated things to begin with but praise the Lord truth revealed as was our love in the end...
I cant go into explaining it because a thread would not be enough nor could I find words to the things experienced........ to explain.......
