Christmas will be different for me this year and each year after. I am an adult and not at home, and many of my family members are dead. I expect Christmas one day will be with the family I create. For now, my Christmas traditions being single are:
1. Enjoying the Christmas spirit
2. Enjoying others whom decorate and I can see (local business, homes, city streets, etc.)
3. Attending local events
4. Maybe, just maybe if nice, saying Merry Christmas, Feliz Navidad to a few strangers.

I like baking and decorating, waiting and working toward a home.

That seems nice, balanceme1. :)

I don't have any traditions. When I have children, I always loved how, in the "olden" days, the tree was set up and decorated by the parents on Christmas Eve, loaded with the presents, so when the children woke on Christmas morning, it was to a beautifully decorated Christmas tree and presents. If I ever have children, I really would like to do this for them.

As of right now, I don't put up a tree or decorate, really. It's just my mom and I and we tend to travel a lot during the holidays. Plus, I have a cat. A tree is a wonderland for a cat. :)

We have an annual walk along Canyon Road, where people have small bonfires, drink hot chocolate and sing carols. That's a fun thing. I don't do it anymore, really, though because I can't tolerate the cold as I once could. :(

I think I don't follow traditions (except marriage and less conventional things). X-mas is nothing for me and I would like to enjoy some Jewish traditions or feast any day that I don't feel forced, but taught to follow life the way Jesus lived it out.

I love everything about it. It's an opportunity to share in the wonder of the season, and to talk about JESUS more then any other time of year!

I like reviewing the Christmas origins and try to figure out how to break free from worldly traditions. I also like sending special funds through the church to missions all over the world. I also like sending out Christmas cards filled with the historical origins of Christmas. (Makes me excited for Easter :p)
I also like to reread Jesus birth. And since we don't know His actual birthday, wish Him a Happy Birthday.
