That seems nice, balanceme1.
I don't have any traditions. When I have children, I always loved how, in the "olden" days, the tree was set up and decorated by the parents on Christmas Eve, loaded with the presents, so when the children woke on Christmas morning, it was to a beautifully decorated Christmas tree and presents. If I ever have children, I really would like to do this for them.
As of right now, I don't put up a tree or decorate, really. It's just my mom and I and we tend to travel a lot during the holidays. Plus, I have a cat. A tree is a wonderland for a cat.
We have an annual walk along Canyon Road, where people have small bonfires, drink hot chocolate and sing carols. That's a fun thing. I don't do it anymore, really, though because I can't tolerate the cold as I once could.
