DATE WHO HOW

9/16/2016 My favorite daughter-in-law Leukemia 2 years after moving to Las Vegas. She was a very strong believer in Yeshua. I ended up in the hospital with broken heart syndrome. Yes, there is such a thing.
2/5/2019 My youngest grand-daughter. 2 weeks before turning 20. Heart just stopped.
4/5/2019 My oldest grandson. died in a DOUBLE Hit and run by TWO pickup trucks! (yea, it made the news, too)
3/1/2021 My eldest daughter's youngest daughter - driving, lost control, hit a pole two weeks before her 21st birthday.

I turned my back on God for 2 years after my daughter-in-law died. It wasn't until about a year after that last one, He called me back to Him... and told me: I took them BEFORE they saw corruption.

My point is this: God is ALWAYS THERE. He will NEVER leave you nor forsake you!!! NEVER FORGET!!!

Thank you for this. I lost my wife in 2009. Angry at God for several years afterward. Never considered this as a possibility.

DATE WHO HOW

It's something I try not to dwell on. Most came within a small span of time but I would have to look up dates.

My grandmother on my mothers side to cancer. My great aunt, her sister, also died of cancer. They lived a few doors from each other and died months apart.

A year or so later my Grandmother on my fathers side to a brain tumor. Very close to these women, all wonderful Christian ladies.

A year or less later, my Moms sister, my only blood related aunt to stomach cancer. She was 43 yrs old and was like losing my second mom. Also a beautiful Christian.

My only living grandfather to heart disease. A Christian man.

My uncle on my fathers side to alcoholism. He had been addicted for years. A pastor friend where he lives led him to the Lord before he passed away.

My uncle on my mothers side to cancer. We didn't know he had a Christian friend who led him to the Lord before he passed away.

My cousins husband. We were in ministry at the time. We had been in the area before and her husband never came. But this time he did. He had always said the church would fall in if he ever attended. He walked in while we were setting up for the evening. He came down the aisle and I looked up at the roof and said " it's still here"! We had a laugh. I don't know for sure but I am believing he gave his heart to the Lord that night. It wasn't long after our visit we got a devastating call. He and his son had been hunting and he stepped in front of the gun at the same moment his son took a shot, killing him instantly.

Again, all this happened in a very short span of time. I don't know yet that we have recovered from the grief. But I thank God that each of them were either saved or were led to the Lord before they passed into eternity.

We all got the scars of this fallen world on us. I look forward to the day when the only scars we'll see will be the ones Jesus' body still has.

My life love (hubby) also lost one of his sisters in september '22 and her hubby died april '23.

I too, truly, cannot wait for Christ to return so we can see all our loved ones again. What a joyful time that will be indeed!

I don't think we ever really recover completely. The loss we feel from the empty spaces left by those who pass on will always be there. But as we keep Yeshua in our hearts and on our tongues, we can know that we will see them again at the final resurrection of HIS True believers. And we can know that they are now at peace. and you can too with this knowledge.

Graves bursting open... with our restored loved ones in glorified bodies, never ever to die again.

That would shell-shock me too. I think I'd be checked out for a while.
If it weren't for God's being with me, I would have. He carried me through each and every one. As it is, when the first one, my daughter-in-law died, I did end up in the hospital with "broken heart syndrome", which is very real, according to the cardiologists there. But with the rest, I was just numb... and still am somewhat.

I think i have been blessed.. Because apart from the normal grieving process i have never had my faith in The LORD troubled by the death of a loved one... For some reason i accept that everyone eventually dies and it is a part of life to die so we can pass on into eternity and receive our perfected eternal bodies and shed this corrupt imperfect bodies and existence on this fallen world..

Maybe i am peculiar in that way? Peculiar or not i am glad i have never hated on the LORD because of the death of another person..

I never "hated on the LORD". I always loved Him... I just was too upset to talk with Him. But you apparently don't get that. which is totally okay. It's me and God.

It is times like this that I sit down, put my head in my hands, and have a long talk with God. Soon the anger goes away. Know that you are in our prayers.

Being in combat you eventually will lose someone. I can’t blame the Lord for that, but myself for volunteering for that position.

I will pray for everyone losing someone.
