jeremylee...you can't stop her from dating...in her mind she has already 'dismissed" you, it's as if your big mistake from years ago is her jumping off point. I'm not saying that you two can't ever get back together. My brother and wife separated up to 364 days and only needed one more day for a legal divorce. GOD changed things, softened my brother's heart, ran to her, reproposed, had a 'new" awesome wedding to declare to the world that they were indeed a couple and life has been grand for them! They are there for other couples going through the same thing.

She took the papers to her lawyer and now we wait I got a lawyer and I told him I am ready to move on

Original op here. Axp55, hope everything is okay with you.

I just want to thank everyone else for the kind words of support. I'm doing lots of praying but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't also praying for God to soften my wife's heart to save our marriage. Is that wrong of me? I'm trying to let her go but I still love her so much.

Like I told the other poster here, don't try to hold onto something that is already gone. If she wants a divorce, it's doubtful she will change her mind. God has something much better planned for you. He uses divorce to his glory.. :)
