I noticed that there was a classical music thread lacking on the first page, for all classical music enthusiasts or simply those who enjoy hearing a piece every once in a while, please feel welcome and free to share with us some of your favourite pieces and maybe elaborate if you are willing, we can continuously add more and more as the amount of classical music is expansive and there is always new music being composed by many individuals.

Hopefully others post some of the sacred music composed by the more well-known composers such as Johann Sebastian Bach, there are always good classical sacred hymns and such.

Currently enjoying some Mozart, particularly his 17th concerto.

Obviously there is more music than this but slowly we can get this thread moving right along.

Greetings Fubario. Good idea for a thread. There have been a few Classical Music threads started in the past, but they haven't lasted too long. Hopefully this one will be different.

Here is a video I put together for Johann Sebastian Bach's piece "Sonata for Violin and Harpsichord No.3", while using 1 Corinthians 13:4-8 as the video's foreground.

One of my absolutely favorite choral pieces! "How lovely is Thy dwelling place" from Brahms' German Requiem.

I put together this video on the "Suffering Servant" chapter of Isaiah 53, and used Ludwig van Beethoven's piece "Moonlight Sonata" for the background music.

Bach is probably the greatest Western composer of all; and some of what he wrote was for Scripture settings: St Matthew Passion and St John Passion.

Blessings.

What's the difference between a violin and a piano?

... a piano will burn longer. :D

(just listen to it 'burn' in Prokofiev's 1st piano concerto)

Here is a video I put together of some of my favorite Proverbs, and I used Johann Sebastian Bach's piece "Concerto No. 4 in G Major" for the music.

Good playlist just found whilst searching YouTube quickly this morning, would recommend it to piano and cello enthusiasts.
