I wrote 2 Christian songs a couple of months ago... One is about accepting Jesus, and one is about creationism, or my view in creationism. It's not about evolution though, it's about the Old Earth creationism theory.

The one about accepting Jesus:

It's a world
Full of sin
It really is
A troubled world
But one day
You can be safe
You can be safe
You can be safe

Some people and things will have ways
To stop you
But just
Ignore them
Don't worry child
There is nothing to worry about
If you decide
To accept Him in your Heart

It's a story of
A beautiful man
That came to this world
Just to save us
Don't stop believing
Don't stop believing

The fate and destiny
Will be always yours
When you
Decide to accept Him
You will get
A very happy life
And you'll be
Safe everywhere
Safe everywhere
Safe everywhere

It's a story of
A beautiful man
That came to this world
Just to save us
Don't stop believing
Don't stop believing

(Interlude)

It's a story of
A beautiful man
That came to this world
Just to save us
Don't stop believing
Don't stop believing

Don't stop believing
Don't stop believing

It's a story of
A beautiful man
That came to this world
Just to save us
Don't stop believing
Don't stop believing

Just remember this
There is nothing to worry about
After you became saved
And you'll be fine
There are no difficult rules
To follow
It's only all about accepting Him

It's a story of
A beautiful man
That came to this world
Just to save us
Don't stop believing
Don't stop believing

(Interlude)

Don't stop believing
Oh yeaaah don't stop believing
Don't stop believing
Don't stop believing
Don't stop believing
Don't stop believing

What do you think? If you think I need some fixing in this song, you can help me. :3

And this one is about the Old Earth creationism theory:

This all began by
Creating the Heavens and Earth
Then came the seas and land
The landscape was formed oohh
Millions of years later
Came the first living beings
Then after them
Came the mammals and us

Praise God
The creator of this all
I am glad
Life exists oohh
Praise God
The creator of this all
Such a
Beautiful home planet we have

It could be that something amazing happened
During the creation of life
It’s the thing when updates always come
Most people just believe this
It feels true
As this theory has the same order as Genesis

Praise God
The creator of this all
I am glad
Life exists
Praise God
The creator of this all
Such a
Beautiful home planet we have

Praise God
The creator of this all
I am glad
Life exists
Praise God
The creator of this all
Such a
Beautiful home planet we have

Everything
Just took time
To come to existence
Every update
In millions of years
Is the rule of this life

(Interlude)

Praise God
The creator of this all
I am glad
Life exists
Praise God
The creator of this all
Such a
Beautiful home planet we have

Praise God
The creator of this all
I am glad
Life exists
Praise God
The creator of this all
Such a
Beautiful home planet we have

Aa-a-aaa
Aa-a-aa-a-aa
Aa-a-aaa
Aa-a-aa-a-aa
Aa-a-aaa
Aa-a-aaa

Thank you
For giving us a home

Sorry, 'progressive' creationism is absolute nonsense. Your first song is decent though.

The Earth IS millions of years old. It cannot be 6000 years only. That's impossible. And also, my second song is not about progressive creationism, it's about OLD EARTH, and the updates mean that in every millions of years appears a new species, but not in the sense of species evolving, but that first appeared the bacteria and fish, and then appeared the dinosaurs, and then appeared the mammals.

Enjoyed reading the lyrics of your songs.

Interestingly, young earth creationism is a relatively recent development in the history of Christendom. "Old Earth creationism" so to speak, is actually the long held view of Christians, and also among the Jews... Without Form and Void - Chapter 1

It is important to remember that old earth creationism predates the theory of evolution by thousands of years.

Which view is correct? Old earth or young earth creationism? There are good arguments on both sides, but in my view, old earth is probably correct.

Progressive CREATIONISM is the Old Earth belief minus evolution. Hence, the term creationism being used.

I've heard this argument before and it's simply not true. A young earth has been the predominant belief for much of the history of Christendom, that is until the bull that is uniformitarinism and evolution infiltrated the Church. Funny how the truth is now believed to be a lie, even by most Christians. Practice biblical exegesis, not eisegesis.

This is a fascinating topic. Have you had a chance to read John Milam's article? It's a good read...

Were the Early Church Fathers Young Earth Creationists?

let OP talk about her music Tintin, if you want to create a storm of arguments go to the biblical section of CC.

Back to the thread topic, do you have any recordings anywhere? Would be interested in hearing it.

I don't wish to create a storm of arguments, I just wanted to draw her attention to the other side of the coin. But yes, I was leading the discussion off track. I apologise. Back to your usual programming...

I am not yet a singer, but I am a future singer for sure.

My music style will be: Christian, Wrock, Pop, Hip-Hop, Rapstep (rap dubstep), and Rock, and also some Celtic and Chill Out. I will sing mostly secular songs what I wrote but I will also sing few Christian songs... And I also wrote songs about Severus Snape. :D

A future singer for who? God or Satan? Your choice of music is mostly secular, and you've even written songs about demons?!!! You would never make it in the music industry, which is already satanic enough. Take a look at how many singers cannot handle the pressure of their lifestyle, and end up broke, lonely, and drug-addicted!!! You can barely even separate fantasy from reality and you want to take on such a high-profile, stressful occupation?!! Get real, little girl, get real!! You need to get your life straightened out first before you can even think of trying to be a singer!!

I was briefly considering becoming her manager until she decided on duet with this Snipe character. He has such a twangy voice and it is very irritating.

This is a lost cause my friend. You have tried the hardest and I commend you for this.

tourist, thank you. :) Yes she IS a lost cause to me and others on here who have tried unsuccessfully to help her. However, she is NOT a lost cause to GOD. :) Only He can save her soul from what's going to come next.

Oh goodness, are you serious? Secular music is not satanic!! Only songs about crimes, objectifying women (and maybe men too), drugs, and demons, devils, Satan, and other demonic things are the only satanic music. What's wrong with songs about fun dancing only without drugs or alcohol? And I did NOT write a song about demons, I wrote songs about the legitimate Severus Snape character, not the demon Severus Snape... And whoever accuses me of being in the Illuminati now or in the future, has to repent, because I am not joining the Illuminati and not all music is Illuminati.

Generally, it's a pity when theologians try to sing and when musicians try to theologize.

I thought about this for awhile... There are challenges, yes... Sometimes it works out great, like with David... Peace!
