Love this song so much that I wanted to do a total remake and I have the song laid out in my head with completely different harmonies... but I gave up because I would probably be sued for copyright (penalties for damage are 30-150k) although I dont earn any money on the music I upload on youtube I dont sell it and dont have ads either...
I gave it up today so I'm posting it here knowing that I cant sing it...

Where is the thread with the first 100+?

I have no idea how many times I've listened to my CD version of this, but before posting this I had never seen the video version of the recording.

I do a blog called the 100 Best Modern Worship Songs. I'm on song #81 right now. My guess is that it will get done by summer of next year. I post a new song about once a week.

I'm just finishing up my videos which I will post here. They are broken up into 10 songs increments (just approx. 45 -60 of each song)

Without going into too much detail, I feel I'm know a great deal about worship music. I can honestly say that in all my time of leading worship and collecting every good song out there, "The Potter's Hand" is my all-time favorite worship song. Simply perfect in every way. I'm pretty sure I'll use that video when I get to my review of the song, but that's a LONG way off - it's gonna be real high on the list.

I don't know.
I love some Hillsong, some Planetshakers, a lot of Bethel and Jesus Culture, Kari Jobe, Laura Hackett, Misty Edwards - that sort of things. There are plenty of others too. I enjoy some of the old hymns, as long as they're sung with gusto and not organ-ized.

It's a very humbling piece.

Part of me dreads it because the song is a cry of desperation to be molded, transformed, reworked, corrected...and the crying part, in my case, too often becomes literal. Can be very embarrassing if there are other people around!
