For once I start asking myself, may be one day gay christians and gay muslims , gay budhists, gay atheists, could live in peace and marry each other in harmony and tolerant… I don't know how to reconcile the whole situation.

A telling quote from the article...

"Therefore we have to interpret the scriptures in a way, just as we've had to do in relation to women's ministry and in relation to the remarriage of divorced people."

When is the Church going to put it's foot down on such 'Scripture twisting"?
THE CULTURE IS NOT TO DICTATE WHAT SCRIPTURE MEANS!

Gay Christian is an oxymoron. The new birth births God's desires.

This breaks my heart.

I hope she is celibate. And I hope she talks with folks who can really help her realize her sin and transform her life.

She's very talented, and we sing one of her songs regularly in our church. I would hate to see her go down this path that can only lead to destruction.

Actually it seems to be the trendy thing for christians to accept homosexuality these days. Even the pope is getting a bit soft on gays. Do a bit of googling on "pope's view on gays" or some such and you'll be surprised what you find.

But it's just a facet of the current "everything is okay" mentality. It's not popular to call anything sin these days. Even other christians will call you a christian bully. Grace is very popular, but truth is... sparse.

Only the sacrifice at the cross is what gives us hope.
The world cannot. Nothing can save us. We live to die, we live to overcome death. we live for to enjoy life.

When we come to that place, we understand repentance and grace…
Can a real christian fall into sin? Yes, but a true christian will let Jesus convince him of sin and repent.

The Love of Jesus convinces us to repent not to continue in sin.
