I am a good singer but not happy with my voice. What are some good songs to sing to get my voice to sound better? Secular and Christian songs....does not matter to me.

"You Belong With Me" is a very demanding song, which will challenge you. I don't know how you feel about Taylor Swift though ;)

Songs usually don't help you improve. It's all about exercises. Search for singing exercises on youtube if you want free lessons or hire a vocal teacher to help you get you to where you want your voice to be. Arpeggios will help alot too!

Also try Ken Tamplin on Youtube. He was the guitarist/vocalist from Shout. He does vocal training, and i THINK he has some videos on Youtube.

You will not become a better, healthy singer without a professional voice instructor. Choosing any old song to try to improve your voice may cause damage without proper guidance. You need to know how to use your instrument in a healthy way or you may cause permanent damage. Professional voice instructors have the education to guide you to the best music for your voice, the appropriate exercises and will educate you to be an effective singer. Look to the National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS) to find a qualified teacher in your area.

What about Geoff Tate of Queensryche? I know his Mother was an Opera singer, but I don't know as if he was formally trained. He smokes & drinks a pot of coffee before he goes on stage & he's been singing great for decades.
Another amazing singer with great range & is almost flawless live is Ray Alder from Fates Warning.

One can always find exceptions, but MOST professional singers have coaches or instructors. And if you want to sing professionally, you really NEED the guidance of a professional. I have personally worked with way too many singers who were in vocal distress from simply listening to other singers and trying to imitate them.

Your description and question are vague. If you are a good singer, please explain what it is about your voice that you don't like.
I recommend using specific vocal warm-ups/exercises (google/youtube) instead of songs to improve your singing in general.

I've been singing for years. Some of the keys to becoming a better singer include 1) practicing and stretching your breathing. Be sure you are breathing from your diaphragm or you will never have lasting power. 2). diction: it's hard to appreciate a singer you can't understand. 3). Technique: do you trill, belt, singsong, use twang, figure out a balance. Too much is obnoxious. Just enough flavors a song beautifully. 4). Find your voice. You don't need to sound like anyone else. Just be you. 5) practice in different timbres: if you belt, then try a breathy singsong approach. If you usually trail off a note try holding it out. It vice versa.

So what Jordache is saying is: practice, practice, practice.....

I'm saying to make your voice known,......you own it, no one can take it from you.
You ride it like it's your own (because it is).
Own that thing.
And better yet, let everybody else know you own that thing.

Sing Out!

I sang all my life but I was always very shy. I started doing worship when I was 15. I never really thought I ccould sing. I actually found my voice when I went away to college. I was singing in worship and I belted it out. I loved Jesus and I was finally free. I rrealized then that I had more lower than most people. I was singing louder than 50 youth and the band. When I started recording my producer friend told me that all the vocalists he knows he has to push their volume to a 9. He recorded me at a 2. I sang for years but struggled with comparing myself to my fellow singers. But then they started asking me for help. I learned to develop my ear for harmony and realized I have a naturals gifting in it. Then people began asking me for parts. Still I didn't think I was that good... Because I was comparing myself. One day after a set the worship pastor looked at me annoyed and said "when are you going to realize you can sing?" Everything changed at that moment and I really started to own my voice be making it my own.

Just work on it in confidence.
Without knowing you can do it you will never be able to.
If you know you can, all things are possible.
All of this is predicated on your practicing, and perfecting your instrument.
There is no faking your way through a performance. - But you don't have to if you own it.
Don't be shy, belt it out.....if people don't like it that's their problem.
Put your footprint down using your voice. Put your voice print down.
You own it, so own it.
