We can count on Zman giving you a like for that one haha. He's a big fan of them if i remember correctly. I'm not big on the power metal stuff myself, though that song was pretty good. Also, i believe they are working on a new album. Or have they released one recently. I know a while back ago the singer was talking about it.
I usually don't get into power metal but sometimes it just... grabs me.

How about this then

In You, I Have Taken Refuge
Never Let Me Be Put To Shame
As You Are Righteous Rescue Me And Save My Life
Hear Me And Set Me Free
Be A Rock Of Refuge For Me,
Where I May Ever Find Safety At Your Call
For You Are My Towering Crag And Stronghold
O Lord , Keep My Life Safe From The Wicked
You Are My Hope, O Lord, My Trust, O Lord, Since Boyhood
From Birth I Have Leaned Upon You
My Protector Since I Left My Mother's Vomb
Let All My Traducers Be Shamed And Dishonoured
Let All Who Seek My Hurt Be Covered With Scorn
But I Will Wait In Continual Hope
I Will Praise You Again And Again
All Day Long Your Righteousness, Your Saving Acts,
Shall Be Upon My Lips
You Shall Ever Be The Theme Of My Praise
Your Righteousness, Yours Alone
You Are My Hope, O Lord, My Trust, O Lord, Since Boyhood
From Birth I Have Leaned Upon You
My Protector Since I Left My Mothers Womb
For You Have Done Great Things
Who Is Like You?

Not a huge fan of Antestor, but my favorite time for them was early on when they were more slow, doomy and deathy, such as this epic tune..

Though i do somewhat like the new album as well.

Well I was told no metalcore earlier in the thread lol. Just doing what I was told.

As for the lyrics, to be honest that version isn't as good as the CD version, so I guess I should have transcribed them. I'll make it up to you. This one is death metal.

This is really good, but it started to get bland after a while. But thank for turning me onto the band. I always saw them in my related videos stream but I was afraid it might be Pagan Metal. Thanks :]

Here's one off of their most recent album. Not a big fan of melodic metal, even death metal, but the album was good.

WOW, once again you've blown my mind Ugly. Geez. The drumming in the intro was epic, the entire song so slow and doomy. I haven't heard such good doom metal since My Dying Bride! And that angelic voice singing praises to the Holy Spirit. The bass was perfect and the guitar was well timed. I've heard it three times in a row already, starting now.

OOOO, slightly southern. Love that attitude on "On My Knees."
I'll keep my ear out for the new Living Sacrifice. I've been listening to them more recently.

Yeah, i was into the music, but then the singing started and it kind of killed it. I'm not big on the female fronted rock/metal stuff to begin with. But she just didn't have an appealing voice. I listened to On My Knees, and the music was good, even her flow was good, but her voice was making me cringe. And on top of that it seemed a little bland.

I've heard better singing but the southern Influence is pretty dang awesome. Actually the singing kind of sounds like (man card revoked) Barlowgirl. It's growing on me...

How about this?

I listened to them when they first came out. That's it. Not since. The whole radio rock thing disinterests me, as well as most female fronted bands.

Is the troll gone now? Can I come out of hiding?

Couple things to address, last I thing I knew about Theocracy working on an album they were working on re-recording the self-titled debut, but that was closer to the beginning of the year and I haven't heard anything about it since, though I know they're still around because they recently just posted pics of a show they played about a month ago.

Second, A Sovereign Fortress was the first Antestor song I ever heard, it's nice to be able to worship to some dark drudgy metal.

Third, I swear if one more person brings up Love and Death on this thread one more time, "Why I oughta..."

Lastly, an LS classic...

It does my molten metal heart good to know that Living Sacrifice is working on some new stuff. They'll always be one of my fav's. I gotta say, there's not been much lately in the christian metal scene that's blown me away. (with the exception of the coolness of Extol & Sacred Warrior)I keep hoping for the next Believer or Saviour Machine...or heck even old Deliverance, but with a more modern twist. Dang...maybe I should go buy another drum kit & drag Z-man on tour with me...we'll get Ugly to manage us...all we need is a sweet guitarist!

Also it appears I have escaped unscathed after a BarlowGirl reference in a metal thread. I should probably go and buy a lottery ticket now.

I believe that may have been released. The link i sent you in mail about the music, the singer uses that forum.

Sweet.

Sacred Warrior was an awesome album, except that one slow song, it was very obvious it wasn't Rey Perra singing, and the vocals were bland and typical. And the song itself was kind of bleh.
Haven't cared much for the recent Believer releases. And their faith seems to have taken a back seat, which only added to my disinterest. But they were working on a new album, but have taken a break. Apparently one member has had serious health issues.
Did you see the live stuff from Saviour Machine in Europe from a year or two ago?

I remember this album. Think i may have it. Good stuff.

And the only reason you got away with your BarlowGirl comment is i've not been feeling well, and multitasking. But it was noted and your man AND metal card will be pulled.

I see. So is it at all possible for me to overcompensate in other areas and still listen to chick rock, or is it just a flat out no?

Well I'll make it up to you. And this isn't radio rock. People would think there was something wrong with their radios.

Trying to get your metal card back with metalcore? For shame!
