i use "call me" by Blondie for when my wife calls. (that's awesome, right?)

"massive termination of souls" by Armath Sargon is my alarm clock

my default ringtone is "all of it leads to a last phone call" by Anaphylaxis... that one, well, i don't think you'll be able to find that. it's not metal though, Anaphylaxis was a christian experimental ambient/noise project that's now defunct, and he took down his website about a year ago.

"too many puppies" (Primus) seems like it would make a good tone. the first 10 seconds are pretty iconic.

or "everyday i'm hustling" - i use that for a friend's custom ringer.

I don't even know that song. But, umm... sure.. it's epic...

Too Many Puppies... my favorite Primus song! That may have to be someones ringtone, not just a text snippet.

Don't know that one either...
My default ringtone is 'Hate Me' by Anti-Hell Society
One is 'Amazing Grace' by Flatfoot 56
One is 'Jesus Loogie' by Denver and the Mile High Orchestra
For my dad i have 'Consuming Fire' by Third Day

But the Primus may work for someone else needing one. Not sure why i put this much effort in. Hardly anyone calls me other than doctors or pharmacies anyways. =P

This is a good Christian metal band, I especially like the song ,'Can't Get You Outta My Mind.'

I think, it's more rock than 'metal,' but, it's a song I like of a band that really gripped me when I was in 8th grade--teenage years!-- and was heading the world's way and not saying I got off that secular train, just saying that God kept me going full steam ahead with knowing who died for me and saved my little body :)

Resurrection Band - Can't Get You Outta My Mind lyrics

I heard your song on the radio,
It stole my heart and it won't let go,
I'm telling you it was so unreal,
You know exactly how I feel,
It said that you were the only one who understood where I was coming from,
You put me together and you tore me apart,
You told me the truth about my broken heart.

And I can't... (I can't)
Get you outta my...
I can't... (I can't)
Get you outta my...
I can't... (I can't)
Get you outta my mind.

All of my friends say I'm going mad,
I guess I thought they might understand,
But nothing I do and nothing I say can make your melody go away,
I sat there on my sinking ship,
I wrung my hands and I bit my lip,
Staring at my shoes and my ball and chain while, on and on, your music played.

And I can't... (I can't)
Get you outta my...
I can't... (I can't)
Get you outta my...
I can't... (I can't)
Get you outta my mind,
I can't... (I can't)
Get you outta my...
I can't... (I can't)
Get you outta my...
I can't... (I can't)
Get you outta my mind, whoa.

The news is spreading all over town,
You tore all of my roadblocks down,
I can hardly eat, I hardly sleep,
I'm over my head in a love so deep,
I heard what you said,
You told me what could be and then you left it up to me,
But once I realised it was true, Jesus, how could I refuse?

And I can't... (I can't)
Get you outta my...
I can't... (I can't)
Get you outta my...
I can't... (I can't)
Get you outta my mind,
I can't... (I can't)
Get you outta my...
I can't... (I can't)
Get you outta my...
I can't... (I can't)
Get you outta my mind,
Out of my mind.

y'all like How to Avoid Art ?

Monk Q | How To Avoid Art

Rob Stangle said:
(Proverbs 3)

["There's is nothing to fear but God."]
Never let loyalty and kindness get away from you!
Wear them like a necklace; write them deep within your heart.
Then you will find favor with both God and people, and you will gain a good reputation.
Trust in the LORD with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding.
Seek his will in all you do, and he will make your path straight.
For wisdom will enter your mind,
(Discretion will watch over you)
And knowledge will delight your heart
(Understanding will guard you)
Trust in the Lord with all of your heart
Don't depend on your own understanding
Seek His will in all that you do
And He will direct your paths

Don't be impressed with your own wisdom.
Instead, fear the LORD and turn your back on evil.
Then you will gain renewed health and vitality.
Honor the LORD with your wealth and with the best part of everything your land produces.
Then He will fill your barns with grain, and your vats will overflow with the finest wine
For wisdom will enter your mind,
(Discretion will watch over you)
And knowledge will delight your heart
(Understanding will guard you)

Trust in the Lord with all of your heart
Don't depend on your own understanding
Seek His will in all that you do
And He will direct your paths

Don't lose sight of good planning and insight.
Hang on to them, for they fill you with life and bring you honor and respect.
They keep you safe on your way and keep your feet from stumbling.
You can lie down without fear and enjoy pleasant dreams.
You need not be afraid of disaster or the destruction that comes upon the wicked, for the LORD is your security
For wisdom will enter your mind,
(Discretion will watch over you)
And knowledge will delight your heart
(Understanding will guard you)

Trust in the Lord with all of your heart
Don't depend on your own understanding
Seek His will in all that you do
And He will direct your paths

It was ok. Didn't thrill me. Maybe more listens. Or maybe i'm just not in 'industrial mode' for now.

Not me. Though i did see Demon Hunter on the Triptych tour (actually the show that was on the DVD that came with the CD was the one i was at). Staple was one of the opening acts. Becoming The Archetype was the other. But even live Staple didn't get my attention. Though they are more rock than metal anyways.

Dude, lose the horns in the pic. That's not a good sign to be making. I do enjoy the staple though.

This is a bit different..

He's actually doing 'i love you' in sign language. Not horns. Though the horns don't bother me either way.

There are some exceptions, but mostly i'm not a fan of power/melodic metal.

You are correct, I missed the thumb extended. My apologies.

But... there are exceptions where you are fans of metalcore and you aren't usually a fan of it either... One of these times I will find the exception. Don't post it, I want to find it myself. It would be that much more epic. Plus it's probably really obscure, which will make finding it 10x more awesome.

How about this? Maybe a slight tingle?

Not bad. Better than a lot of other stuff. Though i have a number of his albums and haven't even tried them for years. I can give one hint. One of the best albums i've heard in this style does feature Rob Rock.

How can metal be Christian?

Ephesians 5:19 - "Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord;"

Is rock music or metal spiritual? Nope, it appeals to the flesh, that's why people are always taking their clothes off, they get unnatural feelings and want to be perverted. How can that be in harmony with God?

Metal isn't hymns, it isn't psalms and most of all it lacks a whole lot of melody. There is a bunch of rhythm, which is why it appeals to the flesh. Why is this in the "church", Jesus doesn't like that music, that's why Ephesians 5:19 says to sing and to make melody in your heart to the Lord.

1 Corinthians 10:21 - "Ye cannot drink the cup of the Lord, and the cup of devils: ye cannot be partakers of the Lord's table, and of the table of devils."

In metal there is a lot of satanism. The song blood washed bride is a bunch of screaming. Don't call that the Holy Spirit. Those guys aren't glorifying God, but their flesh. If you can't even understand them what's the point of trying to make the lyrics "Christian".

Christian metal is an oxymoron, you can't have Christian metal. Christians must get out of that satanic system. Leave your old ways behind, I thought "Christian rap" was okay, but the guys are just sell-outs, especially Lecrae. They sing mostly about themselves, Jesus gets about 0.0001% airplay on the songs, the rest is just a fleshly beat with some superficial lyrics. I actually can think of a more Christian song from an unsaved rapper who is far from godly than the so-called "Christian rap" that's out there.

Heard all this crap before. Your argument is as weak and unfounded as it was 25 years ago. Take your out of context, ill applied scriptures and your Personal Opinions (which is all they are, opinions, not facts) and leave. Please stop trolling this thread.
