Why haven't they gotten BIG? Uh, well...for several reasons...GOD just may have something more important for them than 'getting big'. Perhaps they will utilize their talents much better by winning others over to JESUS, one on one, using spiritual gifts and more. I recall the old gospel group GOLD CITY. I went to a sold out concert, in the middle of winter to see them. I noticed their GOLDEN EAGLE bus, the tailor-made suits, the rolex watches, the expensive shoes, the best seats in the house saved for local celebrities and the real dyed in the wool fans outside in the cold, hoping to hear them through the walls. Something bothered me about the entire situation there..and I left. That very week, I listened to a local gospel radio station and they were being interviewed live. They confessed that they needed to be truely "SAVED" and they all rededicated their lives over to GOD in fresh new way. One went on to become a youth direction, one a pastor, others joined and supported their local churches, etc. In other words, they were more effective for the cause of CHRIST individually than being in the spotlight, being on tour, promoting ticket sales and all the hoopla that surrounds that kind of business. I know...I was in gospel groups, touring, meeting other CHRISTIAN celebrities for years...and for the most part, it was for entertainment purposes. Guess what...life goes on, with or without people 'making it big".
