Why is it frowned upon when Christian artists tackle serious topics?

I know the important thing about music is about worshiping God but that doesn't mean bands shouldn't have enough freedom to talk about topics maybe considered "taboo" in the Christian music scene. I remember NF in some of his early songs would talk about depression, anxiety and always received messages about his tone and message being too "aggressive", where he even responded to them in some songs. You don't hear many Christian artists tackle topics like abuse, domestic violence, bullying, discrimination, mental health. I get like I said earlier their goal is to provide music for worshiping but as Christians, shouldn't artist also tackle difficult topics and try to help people going through stuff? Wouldn't Christians of all artist do that?

Most Christians won't honestly deal with those topics. Why would we expect them to listen to music that dies.
I mean I've been watching people come here with serious issues and either get blasted, judged and given bad advice, or back patted and thrown a few generic scriptures that don't really apply.
How rare it is for people here to listen, consider what's said and cater an answer to the individual? Or even share anything personal of themselves?
If they don't do it in their daily lives you can't expect them to want to hear others do it through their music.

Besides the Holy culture hive mind think music serves only one purpose. Worship. Thus creativity and serious topics are deemed virtually blasphemous.

Bypass the mainstream to find artists that confront deeper issues and have anything creative in them.

That would be great, but we are living in a time like no other if a Christian tried to make a real difference in the world the world would not hesitate to destroy them and run God's name through the mud. Truth is I don't of any Christians that would be willing to face the hatred of the world In order to make a real difference in the world. Welcome to the 21st century the generation of evil.

Look at the Psalms...the original Christian hymn book.

Look at the subjects discussed there...

That's what Christian music should focus on...51st psalm is a good one...

22nd psalm is another....so is 18.

Just saying...there's a reason they are there.
