Most of the world agree climate change is real (which you don't agree with), almost all reputable scientists whose studies are actually considered ti have weight have come to consensus on it (which you disagree with), my generation are largely liberal (which you disagree with), the majority of folks in Western nations advocate equal rights for gay people (which you disagree with), the majority of educational and scientific professionals advocate that creationism should not be taught as a science (which you disagree with), most of my generation in British universities advocate the value of multiculturalism, religious pluralism and religious tolerance (which, from your posts, you often disagree with), and most highly educated people are atheists (which you disagree with).

So, in fifty years time, what do you think the world is going to look like?

Obama has created record levels of job growth, reduced unemployment, pushed for the legalization of same sex marriage, pulled troops out of war, boosted the economy faster than at any other point in the last decade, supported equal pay for women, supported women's reproductive rights, pushed for increased minimum wage, made a historic climate deal with China to reduce emissions, given all Americans the right to access to healthcare not withstanding their economic position, has won the Nobel Peace Prize, has been the Most Admired Man in America the 7th Straight Year, and has pulled the majority of troops from Iraq and Afghanistan.

Obama has done a far better job than Bush, and it's no surprise that he has boosted the economy, because as has been proven by two Harvard economists, the economy always grows more under Democratic leadership than under Republican.

Frankly you all in the democratic/republican debate are wrong. Both parties are equally to blame for our situation. Dems tax and spend to support their environmental and welfare buddies, Repubs tax and spend to benefit the 1%. The middle class, which was the backbone of this country, have taken it in the shorts from both sides. And yet the 99% keep voting to continue the process. It's all part of that big long spiral down the drain into the tribulation, which includes the failure of the world's monetary system and it's replacement with the mark of the beast.

The reasons for the recession were insider trading, over-lending by banks and increased borrowing from governments, as well as circumstanes in the Middle East regarding two essentially privately funded wars. Economists predicted it. Nobody listened. Intelligentsia are only ever of any any use to people when they're needed to fix something or say ''I told you so''.
