Rubio's answer about Putin was so spot on it's scary. Fiorina's wasn't bad but a bit too aggressive to blindly go into. Without talking you're just going to end up with another Cold War which is something we don't need.

The one thing about Trump though is that he runs this huge empire of hotels, casinos, country clubs, etc.. and he takes a very active role in his company, so how will he be able to let go of all that if he's president. He seems to be the type of person who is happily obsessed with running his company (which is a good thing since he owns it).

Trump's better than he was in the Fox debate, but he ain't impressin' anyone, as far as I'm concerned. He's lied at least twice ... regarding his bankruptcies, and regarding his efforts to get gaming in Florida. The only ones who haven't lied are Ben, Mike Huckabee, and Mario Rubio.

rubio and kasich were the most presidential imo. They also had an easy authenticity in their demeanor. Christie was more likable than he has been in the past.

I doubt that it will happen tomorrow, but the fact is the field is quickly boiling down to a two-man race: Trump and Carson.

Personally, as most of you know, I favor Carson, and I think in the end, he wins the nomination if, indeed, it becomes that two-man race. What Trump supporters are correct about is that GOP voters are fed up with the status quo of same ol' same ol'. What they are wrong about is that Trump is the answer.

Carson is the answer. He's reasonable, intelligent, engaging, powerfully humble. It will be hard for Clinton, Biden, Sanders, or even Elizabeth Warren to overcome his persona. He is a quick learner, and more than capable as an executive.

The final outcome boils down to whether or not the politicians can make inroads against the top two. Carson currently is in a statistical tie in Iowa, has a slight lead in New Hampshire. Trump isn't losing ground, but as I predicted a few weeks ago, he isn't going to gain those abandoning the establishment candidates. He's maxed his support. Carson has an 81% approval rating, only a 6% negative rating, both of which are extremes in the field, by a wide margin.

Carson wins. And if he does, the GOP wins next November..
Carson. I just don't see him as a fighter. He's not fired up. I mean, what's he going to do if we get attacked again by terrorists? I can't say what he would do because I haven't witnessed any power or spirit in him. He seems so content. Too calm and at ease. Lots of people struggling. But Carson...what's he going to do? Will he fight. Will he fight.

"Carson. Carson. You there? Hey. Look! The house is on fire."

He's not aggressive.

Any thoughts? Input? What am I missing?

I sincerely ask.

I ain't voting for another politician. Carson is not. I know. But where's the spirit and passion and determination? He needs zeal!

Bingo.

I do not see this debate really changing the dynamic. Trump got clobbered, which was not wise for the clobberers (yeah! give him EVEN MORE press coverage! It's worked SO WELL for them!).

Rubio pleased the pundit class...but he did the same during the last debate. Fiorina stuck some blows...but they were not as good as the last debate. Rand Paul whined...again. Christie did well, but he missed his boat in 2012. Ted Cruz sounded fantastic when they actually remembered he was on the stage, but he looked like Harry from Third Rock from the Sun. Carson looked like a lovable political novice. Jeb and Trump palled around.

My prediction is that the dial doesn't move because of it. If it does move, it'll be a temporary Fiorina gain that will fizzle out unless she fans the flame.

I wouldn't worry about Carson being a fighter. When you are inside a body and something isn't the way it should be and you weren't prepared for it, but are still able to get it to do what you need it to do, it's a fight. Just not a noisy fight and he has won a lot of them.

Obama had experience smoking dope and engaging in sexually immoral acts with white liberals (both male and female) while acting as a community organizer (with domestic leftist terrorist Saul Alinsky) helping poor people get loans that went bad and had to be bailed out at taxpayer expense thru the organization ACORN, which engaged in voter fraud, taught a few classes at college, and held a state senator position where he almost never actually voted for anything (though people have come forward saying he smoked cocaine in the back of limos and got his knob worked on when he wasn't at Man's Country) so I imagine if Obama can be commander in chief then anyone from Herman Munster to Charles Manson can be... now that the bar's been lowered to such depths that our "commander in chief" actually assists the world's worst regimes grow stronger and go nuclear while ensuring we continue on a course of rapid decline.

Carson was my first choice before this all started. I'm not sure he can pull enough votes. He didn't speak up enough. What was that about his response to 9/11? I may have misunderstood, but I think he said he would not have retaliated.

Trump did well. Bush looked like he had strategy and know how. Christie was interesting. I don't care for Cruz. I liked Fiorina, but then I liked her when she ran before. I have to pay closer attention to what happens in the future. I really like what Rubio had to say. He has a shot if he can be heard enough. The rest of them were okay, and I actually like Rand Paul.

Fiorina seemed a little bitter to me.... I don't think she did as well as some think...but maybe the women like her? She had a couple good moments but her overall "persona" was rather ugly...haha

Didn't really care for her either. I thought Rubio did well..... I liked him. Kasich seemed to be the elder statesman in the room. I think they were my faves of the night.
