Ok I reread the holland article. I still dont see your point. Taking a lawful tax deduction is not welfare. Like I stated before, welfare would be like when the treasury wrote a check to someone. I would like to see proof Trump did not pay taxes he was required to pay. If Trump was required to only pay 1% in taxes this year, I'm sure thats more than me and you will pay in a lifetime. If you want to talk about paying your fair share, lets do that. Lets say the national budget is 4 trillion dollars, and the population is 320 million. Do the math 4,000,000,000,000 ÷ 320,000,000 = 12,500. That means every man, woman, and child is on the hook for $12,500. For Trump and his wife, he would owe $25,000. For me and my wife and 2 kids, I would owe $50,000. That would be fair.
