All I'm sayin' is the young man needs Jesus and his amazing Grace. I pray that no matter how tragic of circumstances God places someone in his life a guard or minister to walk him to Christ. Yes, what he did was wrong and must face the music which may mean the death penalty, but God can and will forgive him no matter the sin or justification he used to commit this.

I do hope he finds Jesus, but ,as far as what he did, the jury got this 100% right.

Pretty much an open-and-shut case.
You have eyewitness accounts along with surveillance footage showing him walking into the church and then walking out of the church with a gun in his hand.

I think he's beyond the help of any counsel now.
Yes and I think that he knows that they know that he knows that counseling him by man won't help now,IMO,he wants to represent himself because he wants an audience.

Most folks on death row are there for a good reason.
I disagree. There should be no death row; only immediate executions once the death sentence is handed down by the jury according to the laws of that particular state.

Well, as of now the judge in most states states that the death sentence can't be carried out before six months have passed. Maybe vigilante law wasn't that bad after all.

I disagree. I am all for the death penalty, but they also need time to repent and accept Jesus Christ.

Since death is a fairly "permanent" type of sentence,
and sometimes prosecutors and jurors make mistakes,
I'm all for a reasonable waiting period, and some kind of appeal process when cases merit an appeal.

One day you may be falsely accused of something...
and you'll want your appeal process.

That doesn't mean I think the current process is necessarily efficient.
But we don't want to lose our own rights and protections

The appeal process wasn't designed for the psychopaths.
It was designed for ordinary people like you and me,
in case we get falsely accused.

Only if his repentance is sincere. Kind of hard to even imagine that happening. I've seen some of the footage of his interrogation and he does not seem the least bit remorseful.

Most death row inmates are never executed. They sit on death row for about 30 years and eventually die of old age.

Except for Texas and Virginia, they kill them daily.

You are indeed correct about this. We must not let our emotions lead us astray.
