It's more so the people I have an issue with in wanting the government to step in anytime they are uncomfortable. No one's comfort level should allow them to make the government take away the rights of a business. If you are eating at Hooters and are uncomfortable with the women wearing short shorts and a tank top, DON'T GO THERE! It's as simple as that. If you don't like a business for allowing transgendered people to go to the restroom they identify with, DON'T SHOP THERE! There is a choice... you may not like it, but let's not pretend like there isn't.

We both agree when it comes to Obama though... He shouldn't have told schools that they need to allow transgendered students to go into the restrooms they identify as. I'm just sort of use to left wingers doing that sort of thing though... you know, make laws to appease one portion of the population's feelings/comfort level.

I mean... my goodness... how long have we gone without a law making it illegal...? "How on earth did we survive so long without a law restricting transgendered people from the restroom?!"

Actually, business is no more holy than government. That's why unions were formed. And now unions are as corrupt as businesses and government. Kind of what happens when people assume a universal goodness in any particular group. It defies what God says Man is like. (Gen. 6:5)

Isn't it commendable to be the target of "witches" from the position of a follower of truth?
I guess...if one wants to brag about getting a spell cast on them by witches. Not my cup of tea.

What does the state or the federal government have to do with deciding how a person is plumbed? All that takes is looking below the waist.
Unless you truly are intersex.

An old friend of mine grew up for the first 12 years of her life thinking she was a boy, (but not feeling particularly masculine.) Then she had terrible cramps, followed by a bad infection. Ends up she was genetically female, except for some anomalies, including skin where there shouldn't be any on a woman. (Trying to be tactful.) She had her first period, except it had no where to go, so it started rotting inside her.

Now, she lived in a small town in Puerto Rico. Everyone knew her as one of the boys in the neighborhood, until they found out she wasn't a boy. After the corrective surgery, the family had to leave Puerto Rico because of what all their friends and family did to her.

When I knew her? The 1970's. The Commodores had a song at that time called "Brickhouse." Every time I heard that song I pictured her. She was that! She didn't tell many who she was before. Can you imagine why?

And there are Christians on this site who look liked one or the other "below the waist," and yet they really are both. The DNA is XXY.

Remember when people attacked the baker who refused to make a wedding cake for a gay couple? It's people with your mindset that demanded the government MAKE the business owner submit to their sensibilities. They didn't like that a business owner refused their gay cake... so they did what many other Americans do and expect the government to take away freedom from the business owners.

1.) The business owner is the one paying the bill to have his/her own business. They should not have the government make them do something they are against.
2.) Boycott the business if you think the business is wrong/bigoted.
3.) Go to some other baker... rather than make the entire universe revolve around you.

It's not about who is "holier" between the government and the business. You're right... you can find scum in the government and in business. I refuse to support businesses that I personally disagree with... it's my prerogative... I don't expect the government to cater to what I want, but I get final say as to where I spend my dollar. If every time I felt discomfort, annoyance, disagreement, etc... I demanded the government to step in... my oh my... it would be even less like the country our founding fathers envisioned when they wrote our constitution.

Hey, Boy! Who do you think you're talking to? People like me?

You're a child pretending to know everything about everyone else. Grow up!

I don't and didn't claim to know who you are... You're the one that said "I bet you're the type of guy who..." I'm just going based off what you have said about this topic... Your discomfort makes you want the government to create a law to stop transgendered people from entering the restroom... Just as left wing people demanded the government step in and punish the baker for not serving the gay people. You refuse to respect the business rights just as the gay couple did... I may not know you, but I know a double standard when I see it.

The allegations about Donald Trump and Miss Teen USA contestants | PolitiFact Wisconsin

We're not going to rate this on our Truth-O-Meter, since some of the key sources are anonymous.

The story also reported:
Of the 11 (contestants) who said they don’t remember Trump coming into the changing room, some said it was possible that it happened while they weren’t in the room or that they didn’t notice. But most were dubious or dismissed the possibility out of hand.

Allison Bowman, former Miss Wisconsin Teen USA, cast doubt on whether it happened. "These were teenage girls," Bowman said. "If anything inappropriate had gone on, the gossip would have flown."

Trump’s campaign didn’t respond to our requests for this item, but his campaign did issue this statement in response to the BuzzFeed story:

"These accusations have no merit and have already been disproven by many other individuals who were present. When you see questionable attacks like this magically put out there in the final month of a presidential campaign, you have to ask yourself what the political motivations are and why the media is pushing it."
Four contestants in the 1997 pageant told BuzzFeed that Trump walked in on them and other contestants....{and we all know how Buzzfeed is so truthful and known for great journalism.}

Given the situation, we're not rating Kind's statement on the Truth-O-Meter.

Really? You're not claiming to know who I am, boy? Bolded above where you did say who I am without a clue.

It's people with your mindset ...
I was betting. You assume. Now I know!

You're a cocky boy who assumes way too much, and you have been assuming all along I'm left-winged. BOY! You are so incredibly off base! I make George W. look like a left-winger.

Again, grow up! Show some respect. What you speak of as history, is current events to me. I voted for Gerald Ford, Ronald Reagan, Ronald Reagan, G.H.W. Bush, Bob Dole, G.W. Bush, G.W. Bush, and since then have been embarrassed to say I voted for John McCain, Mitt Romney, and the most embarrassing one is Trump.

So, grow up and stop pretending you can teach us old farts a thing or two. You've got nothing to teach me judging from your lack of understanding about laws (like what law was on the books before Obama's EO for transgender bathrooms), business (because you're very much stuck thinking girlie bars is all there is to business), or government, (since you weren't even an adult the last time there was a good presidential election.)

Just to give you a bit of understanding if you must insist on teaching people: First, KNOW YOUR AUDIENCE!

This also applies to a person who hates their job because they think they are bigots for NOT allowing transgendered people from going into the restroom they identify with. No one is making you work there... I'd rather the business set the rules and not the government.
Not trying to trap you but just wondering, could you take a transgendered minister seriously? I couldn't. In the same way, I don't take transgendered folks seriously when it comes to restroom selection. Use the restroom according to the instruments the Good Lord has given. It's really not difficult. Sheese!

You've missed the entire point... You had said, in a previous post, that "you know transgendered people won't really cause you any harm"...
I really do get transgender people wouldn't cause me any harm in the bathroom.
You then asked a question...

Hmmm, can you think of any particular reasons voyeurs, people with fetishes, and rapists wouldn't just walk into the ladies room?
If you don't have any fear, discomfort, etc... WHY do you want the government to make a law to take rights away from the business? And yes... people with your mindset are the same ones that wanted the government to force the baker to make the gay cake. I'm not saying YOU wanted the baker to make the gay cake, I'm saying people who think businesses should be controlled by the government.... which you've admitted in your posts in this thread.

What I find comical is that you don't think "betting" in the context you used is synonymous with "assume". You clearly made an assumption but think because you use the word "bet" that it somehow means something different. I'm just showing you the mirror (telling you what you said) and you're not liking the reflection.

No. You missed the point.

I HAVE NEVER SAID I DO WANT THE GOVERNMENT TO CREATE SUCH LAWS.

No one seems to be catching the irony. The same people who tell us that each child needs his very own trophy for participating, who needs safe zones, who needs to be watch like a hawk because of such egregious things as sugar, roaming pedophiles, plastic in their drinking water, an insect leg in their peanut butter, waves coming from their cell phones, and cords on their venetian blinds is now telling us that we're too overprotective of children if they can't see a penis in the ladies room.

Oh well. I guess the MSM is done worrying about protecting kids. They found someone new who needs their protection.
Oh, BTW my solution for schools allowing "transgenders" in bathrooms and the girl's locker rooms? I'd teach the girls what to do with a bar of soap and a wet sock. As for any girl ending up in the boy's locker? That's a lawsuit waiting to happen. And possibly a criminal trial for rape.
Maybe if you weren't so busy teaching us poor bimbos everything, you would have had time to figure out what we've been saying all along.

Actually, I do take transgender people seriously. They really need a whole lot of counseling, help, pray, and real support systems. There is life after gender confusion. Staying confused is too hard. That's why they often kill themselves.

Obama's law was never about helping these poor people. It was about getting the gay agenda on the Democratic ticket to get their vote and keep America going south with false liberalism. (Anarchy.)

We have gained a national victory in that Obama's EO has been rescinded. I live in Philadelphia, a place stupid enough (as a whole) to embrace the anarchy party, (while they're still thinking it's the Democratic Party.) Our fight keeps going. As does our fight against being a sanctuary city. As our fight against what's (not) happening in our public schools.

I suspect this will end much like the Democrat stronghold in the South from 1865-1960's, when people wake up and realize the party is no longer their party and never was truly helping them. There's a reason the South is strongly Republican now. When your party stops being your party, it's time to jump ship.

I look forward to the day when both true Democrats and true Republicans jump ship, and this country goes back to having true liberals and true conservatives. A better choice would be to start a libertarian party, so both old parties can regain their own parties back.

To have a true conservative run again. I hope I see it again in my lifetime.

I agree with you on a personal level. To answer the question, I would take them seriously that they think they are doing God's work but I would not accept or approve of their decision to switch genders. It goes against the very bible they would claim to be preaching from.

But that's the beauty of liberty. We can choose to go to the church and listen to the transgendered minister or choose not to. I don't think government should say a minister can't be transgendered because I personally think it's anti-biblical.

Perhaps we misunderstood each other. If so, I apologize. It wasn't my intention to "teach" you anything. I didn't bring age into the equation or call you a "poor bimbo"... I've just wanted to discuss our beliefs without needing to make any sort of personal attack.

Four pages of telling me what I think that I have not now nor ever thought is as personal as it gets. I didn't bring age into it until I discovered you weren't acting your age, nor acknowledging me as a real person, but treating me like some kind of ditz you were sure I was.

Truth is most 34 year olds are adults. You're not most. And, if you wanted to discuss "our" beliefs, then shouldn't you first find out what I believe?

Two pages of me telling you I'm not who you think I am before I got your attention long enough to hear.

I'm not the safety pin generation. I'm the twap-you-in-the-back-of-the-head-with-a-thimble generation.

Listen better. Even if I was that person you were sure I was, it doesn't give you permission to bowl me down with your steamroller. I'm not having it.

Geez. The guy said he apologized. You sound like a mean old lady who once they get offended they are offended for life. Take a chill pill or a shot a whiskey or something and calm yourself down....mam. Maybe go sew the eyeballs back on that teddy bear you made back in the 20's in the eleventh grade home ec class.
