Baltimore public defenders say body camera video shows faked evidence - CNN.com
I kind of hate to jump on the anti-cop bandwagon but this looks really suspicious
I kind of hate to point this out, but I don't think I've ever seen you off this wagon. Are you suggesting this is a new stance you're holding? I don't know you very well admittedly, but from the comments I read from you here this has been your firm position the whole time. You are always sticking up for and arguing for this position. My point here is not to criticize or judge your view on this either way, but saying "I kind of hate to jump on the anti-cop bandwagon", is not very accurate from what I've seen and read from you.

Yeah..i I get that there is a massive smear campaign on social media to demonize law enforcement but this particular incident looks really suspicious.

Most cops are probably not bad people but the problem is that the ones who are bad are not being held accountable. I think we need Federal legislation. Any officer who is alleged to have been involved in any misconduct would go before a federal inquiry. If the officer is found guilty federal court then is officer would face federal charges. Just throwing that suggestion out there

Yes, CNN HAS proven that is the basis of much of their reporting.

This is been reported by multiple sources so I'm thinking there might just be something to it. I don't hate cops. I just want the bad ones held accountable. Is not an unreasonable request. There are people who should not have a badge and a gun. I think we just witnessed that a couple weeks ago

General Sessions Court records are public information so that eould be be a good place to start. If these individuals were brought into court and had their charges dropped then there should be a public record of it. That doesn't necessarily prove the story but he would be a step in the right direction

Interesting that it is always fake news if the cops do something bad...

Are some of you suggesting cops are better than others? Holy men who cannot do wrong?
Why shouldn't they be capable of such things just like any other person?
Stop defending criminals! Being a cop does NOT put you above the law.

Of course cops do bad things. Cops are humans and will err like everyone else. Some are even criminals.

Bad apples should be held accountable. The problem, though, is when cops do bad things it's open season on every cop in the entire country.

I've said this numerous times before but the bad cops make it hard for the good ones. I'm definitely not going to say that all cops are bad because that would be a ridiculous statement. But in this particular incident I believe these officers are guilty

For those actually living in the US, we see a change in public views of police. More and more people are speaking against the police. Police continue to be ambushed and assassinated. People, like Dude, aid in this anti-cop sentiment with an endless stream of "look how bad cops are" videos and news articles.
Therefore what happens is people who are Not anti-cop defend cops. I have yet to meet a single person who thinks cops are incapable of doing wrong, unlike your unfounded accusation. We are simply tired of anti-cop sentiment and police assassinations.
This is not the first time you took a wrong view of things in the US and how it causes people to act and speak. You did the same thing to me a few weeks ago. Before you go launching into people in countries and cultures not yours it may benefit you to ensure you actually know more details. Rather than wrongly forming opinions and shooting off accusations with no real knowledge.

So you guys can speak trash about Europe but we are to shut up about the US?
Do a search for Europe on CC.... you will find a lot of nasty comments.

You want freedom of speech, you accept I have it too

For the 15 billionth time.. I don't hate cops nor do I want to see them harmed. I just want the bad ones held accountable. It's a pretty reasonable request

Being from Maryland and living in Baltimore City. Baltimore has a long history of corruption in the police force going way back to the 50s and 60s. Just like anybody police are human and there are such things as bad cops. Just because someones profession is a police officer doesn't excuse them of criminality. This world is full of evil-doers regardless of profession. Sad to say it but this happens more than you think. The real problem is there is no way really to weed out good/bad cops before it is too late and too much damage has been done.
