Being from Maryland and living in Baltimore City. Baltimore has a long history of corruption in the police force going way back to the 50s and 60s. Just like anybody police are human and there are such things as bad cops. Just because someones profession is a police officer doesn't excuse them of criminality. This world is full of evil-doers regardless of profession. Sad to say it but this happens more than you think. The real problem is there is no way really to weed out good/bad cops before it is too late and too much damage has been done.
I think Federal legislation is the only solution. There should be a Federal Branch specifically for investigating police misconduct. Any officer accused of misconduct would go before a federal inquiry. If that officer is proven guilty in a federal court then he goes to jail

If by suspicious you mean caught on tape planting evidence then I agree ;)
Well the camera didn't specifically catch them planting the drugs because they conveniently "found "the drugs while the camera was off. Those who are saying this is fake news, remember that General Sessions Court records are public information so it probably wouldn't take much digging to pull up this case. Drug charges typically are not dismissed in court unless the cops did something illegal. That's why I didn't go to jail that night 5 cops came into my house with no warrant
