As for me, I wouldn't give Jorge B. the benefit of the doubt. Not one bit. I'm biting my tongue. Very sore. So much to say about that idiot.

The fool has said in his heart there is no God. Psalms

And I say: The fool has said in his heart he is God.

Catholics are in danger, big danger. Putting a mere man above God Almighty. Idiots. They have bibles. They have ability to read. They can study and learn. They don't. Their choice. Oh, and when you ask to study with them, "I have my religion. I love the Lord. You have yours. I'm fine. Thank you!"

Blah!
AMEN to that....the early Catholics kept the bible chained to the pulpit and it was a sin for the average person to read and or study as the almighty PRIEST was the only one who could understand.....that same darkness that they kept the people in is still prevalent....You know I have a dear friend in Australia and her family is Catholic....they distinguish between being a Catholic and Christian and even make rude comments about HER GOD.....the Catholic religion has led billions to hell since it's inception......by it's religious anti-Christian dogma.......!

... and say that the life of Jesus was a failure and he failed on the cross......I heard it with my own ears as translated by the translator.....Wow!
All we have left is an ambiguous game of semantics, leaving many framing constructs of context. Is that how conversations go now a days, we just “guess” what someone means? Let’s look at the actual statement (which the Vatican has confirmed is accurate, by the way): “And if at times our efforts and works seem to fail and produce no fruit, we need to remember that we are followers of Jesus… and his life, humanly speaking, ended in failure, the failure of the cross.”

Does that mean that we can be comforted by knowing we all fail, including Jesus? OR does it mean, from a human, godless perspective, that Jesus was viewed as a failure. To say the least, it is confusing!

I stand firm on the fact that the pope suggested that Jesus failed at the cross. As depicted in Catholic art, everything always shows the death of Jesus rather than the glory of our Risen Savior and King, who by the way, did not "fail" AT the cross. This to me, bears much witness to Jorge's statement that Jesus was, in fact, defeated at the cross. I believe it is unequivocal.

And so. the very last depiction of the Stations of the Cross has Jesus dead in Mary's arms.
Lutherans are not much different, hmmm, maybe we should all go East, they usually have the risen Christ...but nevermind.

And another thing ...

Why is it that suddenly the U.S. Catholic Church's commercial for "CatholicsComeHome.org" is all over television just 48 hours after his boringness left?

Anyone who says "coincidence" gets a Gibbs slap!
