We are not subject to Old Testament laws as per the New Testament. I find it frustrating that everyone is deliberately missing my point. Just because I live according to biblical standards doesn't mean everyone else is and I'm not going to try to force them to do so. Everyone has constitutional rights. Not just Christians
We want to encourage the proper way of life for everyone so the society benefits. Christians know we have The Truth and we want to model the society after it, because we know it's for the unbelievers own good and our own good if they are encouraged to follow it. The Bible is Perfect and the constitution is a flawed worldly document.
Encouraging sin and allow it to defile marriage is against the best interest of everyone. DON'T BRING UP THE DEATH PENALTY, we don't put gluttons to death, we teach it is unhealthy in school and discourage it socially. We want to do the same with homosexuality because we have the Word of God and want to apply this truth to society.
At no point should the constitution or "freedom" justify letting all hell break loose and let anyone do anything as long as it doesn't hurt others and consent occurs. You know The Truth and are not reacting properly. If we outnumbered the liberals we would ban gay marriage, unfortunately we are unable to do so at the moment. You don't see an issue with gay marriage even though it runs contrary to The Truth you subscribe to.
You need to understand it's ok to infringe on constitutional rights to do the will of God. The Bible takes precedence over our national origin and legal documents. DON'T SAY DEATH PENALTY, no one has suggested that, OT practice of law doesn't apply, but the principles that inspired the laws still do and we should develop the society around those principles.
The death penalty isn't ok, and neither is allowing gay marriage or teaching that it is natural and not a sin. We aren't arguing for the death penalty, we are arguing with you because you support "constitutional rights" to encourage homosexuality and gay marriage, and you encourage it by not being against it.
You are the problem, if your group had an opinion and wanted to model the society after Christian values, we would have a society modeled after Christian values, but you do not want this. You do not see that your position is wrong and causing the symptoms we are seeing. You passively support sin by not being opposed to it. You have allowed us to become outnumbered.
