Except that just because a political system is different, it doesn't make it evil. I still don't understand why everyone believes this. It is just a different view.

Plus we have religious freedom here, so nobody on here is supporting anything anti-Christian.
A political system/party that supports aboration and gay marriage is evil.
To say it is just different is blindness.
Those who teach contrary to the Word are evil and should never be definded.

All I really did was explain what socialism was, what communism was, and what democratic socialism was. Defining them is different than making them a reality. Plus, I think all parties are flawed in different ways which is why I don't align myself to one. That doesn't mean I think Republicans are evil, even though many don't support food stamps which can help hungry children for instance.

To say just one political system is right is incorrect and more focused on the political party than God and His word.

However, I will agree to disagree with everyone on here.

I do defend the truth... They were not talking about his docrtine... They were just judging him for silly and pointless things unrelated to his beliefs. THAT is why I defended him, not because I think he's the greatest pastor in the world.

Socialism is against what the Bible teaches. You cannot defend what is against the Word. Whether political or otherwise.

I would defend you to believe how you do even if I don't believe the exact same thing. If someone told me "kaylagrl" hates poor people because she's a Republican, I'd say, "No she doesn't..." And I would explain why you had the beliefs you did.

I wouldn't say they don't matter though. They established a lot in their lives so that we can live in the wonderful country that we do.

Good work finding this chart. But I can tell you that when implemented by a flawed mankind, they are indistinguishible. The U.S.S.R., which I very clearly remember, was considered communist, yet even theie name SOCIALISTS, testify to the truth that they are the same.

There is nothing more unfair or UNEQUAL than socialism/communism. UNLIKE Capitalism (competition) socialism always races to the bottom of human ability. The simple to understand reason is why would somebody strive harder, work harder, invent more, etc.. if the guy next him doesn't do any of those things, and he doesn't get to realize the fruits of his work?

no matter how people try and spin it, plain and simple you can not serve two masters.
Aren't you serving two masters though? If you think the Republican party is the only way to heaven? :p

im not a member of the republican party.
Me either. I'm not any party. So why is everyone calling me evil? Just because I defend people who are getting called things that aren't true!?

Besides, being open minded to other ideas doesn't mean you want a socialist society or that you even find it moral personally.

communist, socialist don't matter, it is still anti-christian. serving God gets in the way of serving the state. to socialist/communist they want only the state as God.

A story from the Soviet Union

The Commisar came to the collective farms to see how the harvest was doing and asked a farmer and the farmer said "Oh commrade commisar! If we took all the potatoes, they would reach the foot of God."
"Comrade farmer, this is the Soviet Union. There is no God."
"Thats okay, there are no potatoes."

Republican party has zero to do with going to heaven. As a Christian we try to decide who to put in office that is close to the Bible as can be. Republicans are getting further and further from that ideal. Dems use to have a middle of the road too. No more. I have a Senator friend who is a wonderful Christian and he is a Democrat. He's hoping to swing the party back again.

The Bible says if you dont work, you dont eat. If you cannot work,if you are too ill the Bible tells us how to help the poor.To leave extra grain for travelers. To give and it shall be given to you. But the Bible also says a laborer is worthy of his hire. No where in the Bible does it condone over taxing and burdening the people or the gov't taking from the rich to give to the poor. That is a personal decision, not gov't.

Republicans believe in helping the poor. Dems always try to stick it to them, that they dont care. But please do me a favor and go to your phone book. How many churches feed the poor? I traveled in all denominations of churches for 20yrs.I dont believe I was in one that didnt have food and clothes to help those in need. The Salvation Army, one of the biggest helps to the needy. I believe the first orphanage in America was started by George Whitefield, a well known pastor. So please dont give me any foolishness about conservatives not caring about the poor, that is a lie. Samaritans Purse is another one who helps the poor and needy and are first on the scene of disaster.

Socialism is against the teachings of the Bible. 100% You say you defend the truth of the Word, then stop defending socialism and Bernie.

I was using a hypothetical example... Of course I don't personally think that.

"I would defend you to believe how you do even if I don't believe the exact same thing. If someone told me "kaylagrl" hates poor people because she's a Republican, I'd say, "No she doesn't..." And I would explain why you had the beliefs you did"

I was talking about the food stamps thing as an example of why I'm not a Republican, as many Republicans are very adament that all people abuse the systems to get government assistance. That doesn't mean I want people to abuse the system, and it certainly doesn't mean I don't think they don't help the poor in other ways like through church etc.

Far from it. If I didn't have the help of my family and church, I would've been in dire conditions when I lived in Idaho as I was skipping meals as it was for lack of funds.

To reiterate, I DO NOT think Republicans hate poor people!!!

It has become very evident that the next president will not be any more of a Christian than the present president is.
I know they claim to be, but I see no evidence of it being true by their life.
But then, I see very little evidence in the lives of most who claim to be Christian.

I have a girlfriend that is a real sweetheart and a Christian. I moved away from home years ago and lost touch with her. She found me on FB. She's a very private person so I let her tell what she wishes to tell. One day I posted a meme about abuse of gov't help. She wrote me and was very angry. She really let me have it. She had a bad divorce and a son to provide for, then her business went under I felt terrible for her, until she said this...Why am I not allowed to go get my nails done, have a cell phone,or get a tattoo?! Why cant I have cable TV so my son has something to watch? Why cant I have a beer when I want one just because Im on gov't support? Im tired of people judging me!" I was floored!! Glad that she couldnt see my face,I simply apologized and said Id pray for her. I know she was raised better than that. What example is that to her child? This is what conservatives are against. No one is against getting help to those that need it. But we cannot not sustain this many people on gov't support. Its going to fall. You can tax the rich 90% and still not pay for one entitlement for 3yrs. Socialism is not the answer.
