But the problem is that all lives have never mattered in this country.... this country has a long history of oppressing minorities. This country was built on the backs of free labor of slaves. Sometimes it takes extreme ass like that to get people's attention.
Pffft. You're buying the propaganda. Who were the liberated majority ever in this country? Some folks kicked out of their homelands for their religions? The indentured servants? The 12 year old apprentices? The people too loopy for their neighbors so they went west to trap, to pan for gold, to create farms in prairies, to raise cattle on ground too bad to farm on? Who were the oppressed? The Irish? The Germans? The Jews? The Italians? The Asians? The buffalo soldiers? The Hispanics? The Natives that weren't into being herded into reservations? The Africans that are too black for the African-American community? The Indians? The Vietnamese? The Cambodians? Who are these oppressed people? The people who started a Renaissance in Harlem? The Bourgies in New Orleans? Greenwood, OK?

You may want to study American history closer. I got news for you. Even when blacks were slaves, they cost to much just to use them on any old idea. If it was too dangerous for the slaves, they hired the Shanty Irish to do the job. We don't have a liberated majority in this country. We all worked our way up from the lowest wrung! There's still a lowest wrung. Any group that hangs down there too long is doing something wrong and expecting the rest of us to carry them.

I've got no gripes of how my people were treated when they first came to America. I've got no gripes because the way they were treated motivated them to become Americans!
