I'd like to point out had anyone else said what Blue said, the person would be accused of being a left-wing liberal and hating America and promoting evil.. Yet because it's Blue, she gets respectfully disagreed with... Just sayin.
I actually do respect you, but that respect diminished after the above boo hoo post. Gimme a break!

And for obvious reasons the places you list are deemed soft targets.
Then wouldn't it be more beneficial to implement school security guards, surveillance cameras, and metal detectors? EVERYONE would have to go through the metal detector, and they would be visibly monitored through the cameras. And the security guards would roam through the halls during school hours.. JMO

That's definitely one option and its commendable. Here's another:

The Second Amendment of the United States Constitution: "A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed."

I'd rather just have schools require x amount of trained, armed teachers per student and then put something like this on a sign out front: There are armed and trained staff on campus that will use deadly force if necessary on anyone who attempts to harm any occupant of this facility.

I don't keep up with politics, so I have no clue what a left-winger or right-winger is. :( All I know is that I am a southpaw (left-handed)..

And even the comment I made about your hubby getting his head hacked off with a machete, wasn't meant to be nasty or disrespectful, and I made that clear in my comment when I said "no offense meant". Kayla (or whoever) and I may disagree sometimes, but opinions are like eyeballs. Everybody has one.. lol :) Opinions, ideas, etc, are gonna differ on here from person to person.

I wasn't offended. But I think they may try to pick someone a little weaker out of the crowd than my hubby. Lol. Im about 5'2 so I feel pretty safe with him around. Guns, well thats a different story. You know I was raised in Canada and lives there till my 20s. I really did think these Yanks with their guns are just a bunch wing nuts. Then I moved south and my sister married and her husband had a gun. I wasn't comfortable with that but it wasn't my business. When I met my husband he told me he kept a gun under his pillow. I said if we married he'd have to get rid of that. So that started a discussion. And he said something that stuck with me " Why does anybody have a right to come into my home and take my life and take me away from you?" Ahhh couldn't answer that one. Now as things have changed in the country I see why people want the right to defend themselves.Gun control hasn't stopped the killing. In fact I read this interesting article on that very subject. Long and short of it is I've changed my opinion over the years. People have the right to protect themselves and their family. If your conscience keeps you from using a gun thats fine, but its not fair to stop others from defending themselves. jmo

Um, unless you have anything of worth to say, instead of trying to shoved a bunch of nonsense fear down my throat, I suggest that you don't respond to me.

What is with some of you saying: "Wait for them to kill you." "Wait for them to destroy you when there is this much and that much." What are you actually trying to do here? It's kind of like a threat...
According to this guy you have about 10 years before you'll have to wear a burqa. I'm sure your husband will be pleased.

You're living proof of 2 Timothy 4:3-4. Sad is what you are and sickness is what you represent.

I mean, I know I have bad vision to begin with, but I haven't seen the so called respect you've given me like you've given others that came at it with a different mindset. Having said that, this so called liberal posted a link that states how the president of the largest Christian university here in America is encouraging his students to be concealed carriers... And with me being a student at said school, I said how I'm in favor of it, and that I wouldn't want anything to happen and why shouldn't we take the precautionary measures... Funny thing, I didn't realize "liberals" were in support of such concept.. Were they?

Every time you take one step forward regarding manhood you end up taking half a step back. Its still progress, but you're trippin' up. I like you, bro, and believe it or not, when I was your age I was a liberal, but then something amazing happened, I grew up. Besides, 25 years ago liberals agreed to disagree, but today's liberals are full-fledged fascists.

Correct me if I'm wrong, maybe it wasn't you, but I thought you were thumping your chest as an islamic apologist a few weeks back, and now you're saying that you're locked and loaded? If this is true, part of me rejoices that common sense is winning over liberal stupidity, yet part of me is forewarned that your arming yourself is merely liberal hypocrisy.

The problem is you just assume things... You don't know the fact I've grown up with guns all my life, and still live in a house with then today. Would a liberal that's antigun willingly surround himself with such environment? We both know what happens when one assumes.. I don't have to have say it. So stop assuming and let's quit this passive aggressive back and forth. Ohh and one more thing... Liberals wouldn't be voting for a republican in this upcoming election, now would they? Kinda defeats the process of being a liberal if you like the conservatives..

Another thing, I'm beyond irritated on trying to prove myself when it's clear as day I don't have to. So you can take whatever you're going to say and simply put it in a certain place. Cause I'm done now. A liberal wouldn't go to a conservator Christian university for three years to get his bachelor's, and then wouldn't do his master's online at what happens to be the largest Christian university which, as we know, is highly conservative based on the president's comments on encouraging his students to carry on campus.. You know how much wasted time and money that would be if I didn't agree with such things yet I still chose to go there? But you never cared to find out, did you? That's too much work for you.

Like I said, you take one step forward regarding your manhood then half a step back. Or was it two steps back? Regardless, you wine more than grapes. You're 24? Grow up already.

This is not true. I get disagreed with alot, and sometimes not so respectfully..lol I've never had a problem with you or kayla or anyone else.. And as kayla said, I usually try to be respectful in my replies..UNLESS they've been disrespectful to me FIRST, because then they don't deserve my respect and they get their heads handed to them on a silver platter by me..lol
Mitspa calls me an evil left-wing liberal all the time. :p Seriously though, whether someone gets respectfully disagreed with or not, depends on the nature and tone they present in their posts. I usually offer up an opinion or two, and leave it at that. I do NOT try to shove my opinions down anyone's throat, and demand they follow my thinking. As I said before, if you SHOW disrespect, you're gonna GET disrespect in return. I disagree with Mitspa on alot of topics, but I do it respectfully. He knows my stance and I know his. We usually just agree to disagree. :) Nobody wants to argue with a sweet, sassy ladybug. And if they do, they deserve what they get. ;) lol
