Chinese scientists clone monkeys, break barrier to human cloning

LONDON — Chinese scientists have cloned monkeys using the same technique that produced Dolly the sheep two decades ago, breaking a technical barrier that could open the door to copying humans.
Zhong Zhong and Hua Hua, two identical long-tailed macaques, were born eight and six weeks ago, making them the first primates -- the order of mammals that includes monkeys, apes and humans -- to be cloned from a non-embryonic cell.

There are lots of sci-fi movies about cloning human beings and I guess atheist scientists are moving towards this goal to become as gods.

Now the question is - let's say scientists do clone a child - can that child be a living soul?
Can a clone live if God does not give of his Spirit to such a cloned being?
Is a human being more than just biology?

They have already successfully cloned a baby. And they are also doing human cloning as well.. Scary but true.

Actually, the National Human Genome Research Institute states:

Despite several highly publicized claims, there currently is no solid scientific evidence that anyone has cloned human embryos.

Are they trustworthy?

Humans have already been cloned for decades. Most people will be too horrified to want to know what goes on in underground labs.

Let us look at this from a logical point of view, if the technology exists to clone animals, then humans can be cloned as well. Not only that, but the ability to create hybrid species as well.

God makes clones all the time. Organisms that reproduce a-sexually, and identical twins.

Are we next? Are you planning to clone monkeys too?

I'd like to clone myself. Make Tommy #2 go to work for me.

China has a limit on natural births to control population. We abort babies across America. What possible interest is there in cloning people? Other than for rich people to have a body to transfer their being into or for spare parts cloning humans seems to have little value.

Moral questions about this practice will leave only the vilest of folks interested.

But can a clone live?
Will God breathe his Spirit into a clone to make such a one a living soul?
A very good question.

Not long ago, I came across a article in relation to IVG, next step above IVF. As this is out of my league, from what I understand, it is possible that a child could be created from 2 parents of the same sex. So what happens when a child is created and grown from 2 same sex parents using this technique? Could this child be classified as literally being born homosexual?

From my point of view, this seems to be tampering with creation, or going against the natural order (depending on how one views this).

What other cells can also be mixed into the equation when creating children from such a technique is mind boggling.

It just seems to me, we seeing a more advance method of creating hybrids.
