I agree, these schools are established specifically to promote there particular ideals,be they right or wrong.

If people other than us is making a big deal of this like her parents then they should have spent their money sending her to different school, one more lenient about such matters, nobody made her go to a school that states their ideals from the get go.

Trying to circumvent established law only feeds into chaos, this is why God said that we must live by the laws of the land.

A lot of Christian schools have a standard of conduct that the students must obey if they want to attend, graduate from the school.

Seems like a rebellious attitude in the student was sourced from the home.

I was always taught not to air ones dirty laundry in public.

not,

you're a bit younger than us, but for myself, we both must have come from that particular 'mold' -

it was almost like they had hypnotized' me, and something', for I could never utter a word about
the horror, to anyone, ever, even in Church...NOT UNTIL Jesus started 'un-tieing' my tongue
and began to give me my voice back,
little-by-little,.,.,until this day..,Amen,..

Pregnant Maryland teen not allowed at graduation ceremony | Daily Mail Online

She was removed from her position has president on the Student Counsel then suspended for 2 days. She then was barred from walking at her own graduation as further punishment. The girl believes she has been treated more harshly than other students who have been suspended for less. She then said she wondered whether she should have gotten the abortion since they would have just forgiven her rather than live with the visual consequence. Her appeal was denied. The Pro-Life organization Students For Life has come to her defense for keeping the baby

Thoughts?

She does seem to understand more about the way Jesus taught than the school administration does.

On her back... getting you know... pleasured???

God says that is a sin and when she enrolled there she knew that immorality was not acceptable with this school... so she's one of those truce breakers God spoke of in the endtimes that makes promises (like agreeing to the school's Christian based morality) and then breaks them when they no longer suit her.

Not sure why people have a problem with this... if she wants to sleep around she should have enrolled in a secular school so she would not be corrupting other students who want to live for the Lord and not the flesh.

I would have expelled her cause she broke her promises to life like a Christian and then tell the press to speak to the school attorney who would have told them she agreed to live like a Christian when she enrolled... then quote some scripture (you know, out of that Book God wrote!)... after that, tell them to go argue with God.

I suggest, instead of getting so busy promoting your very-special-revelations-because-God-needs-you-to-help-him, you actually read what I said, versus read what you wanted me to have said.

Yeesh! George Bush (both of them) are more left than I am!

And since you get to say my doctrines are "devil doctrines," let me be clear what I think of you. You're a suit short short of a full deck.
Instead of judging someone, you should of notice that what I have said was NOT even directed at you. Before you go around shooting your insults at people randomly because you thought someone was attacking you, I suggest you sit down and asset what was said first.

When I said devil doctrine, I am talking about the OP, who's lately has only been promoting liberal, democrat, anti-christian view points on this website. Devil doctrine I am talking about are articles that has nothing to do with God, but everything to smash it in.

So let me clear something for you, don't point your nasty finger at someone else face if you have no idea what was actually being said. Don't accuse me for something because you didn't understand what was going on.

Then she should have went to a different school, where the administration was agreeable with her lifestyle.

I think removing her from any position of honour in the student body would be appropriate. You do not want to send a message to others that her actions are somehow approved in society. But preventing her from walking at the graduation was very unwise,,, uncalled for..

So yeah make a statement to the student body that what she did was wrong in Christianity buy taking away the honoured position but show forgiveness by allowing her to take part as all the other students do in the graduation..

expelling her for that??? That seems like a big overreaction. She earned her diploma because of her studies and was supposedly very intelligent. Punish her yes, but don't take away her right for an education she now needs more than ever

BS!

Daily Mail.com is known as a far left article website that does nothing, but promote left agenda against Christianity. What you don't hear is the other side of the story on why she was not allowed to attend. That doesn't mean she didn't get her diploma, it meant she was not allowed to flaunt other teenagers that she "had sex" in public to the classmates.

I suggest instead of trying to persuade everyone in this community about your radical left ideas and trying to promote devil doctrines, you should consider two side of the story. I know you're here only to promote your devil doctrine with smile and waving. But that kind of action doesn't fool me. You want to bear fruit, bear it by the holy Spirit buddy. Whatever you're trying to do here, God knows and those who aren't so easily deceived knows. Don't be a plant for the kingdom of darkness.

Anyone wondering the full scope of the story, here it is. (It's long.) Here's a break down of a summary from what I read and see.

She and the rest of her classmate signed a pledge every year to abstain from such activities as a Christian school. She gave her account as, "My punishment was severe." But it was not, they didn't allow her to showcase her pre-martial sex pregnancy to other students. All of the left media agenda started to hammer down on the school and made a spin out of it like devils. They showcased her as a star for keeping her baby and not abortion when they are the ones who support abortion.

She claims, "I was considering abortion because of my school severe punishment." There was nothing severe about the punishment nor there was anything to promote her to get an abortion. They just didn't want her to walk the aisle with her pregnancy because she wasn't married. The idea behind the statement, "The punishment was so severe I thought about getting abortion," was a spin by left media to attack Christian establishment and try to persuade the public that "This is why we get abortions." They are trying to blame Christians on why THEY CHOOSE to have an abortion. Do you see the game they're playing here? It's a blame and accusation game for what they choose to do, and blame it on the righteous.

Maddi Runkles know very well what she got into and knew exactly what would of happened if she had unprotected sex and got caught. She got caught and decided to give her testimony to all the left media agenda to showcase her "feelings," and try to get some sort of repercussion action against the Christian School as revenge for something she knew she did wrong and signed not to do. No one at the school is suggesting to her abortion, they are wanting her to keep it. They are suggesting that she doesn't walk the aisle on her graduation day because they don't want her to be an example to other teenager girls at the school. It's why they even removed her from her position as counselor. Because what counselor can counsel other teenage girl she herself is the act of that wickedness?
Sorry. I'm not that dumb and you should use some exlax to get rid on all of your garbage, instead of playing innocent. You are about as innocent as Charley Manson.

An nasty? That was all on you, babe.

It all depends on exactly what did she agree to when she entered the school...

Some Christian schools actually honor God's Word and one of the conditions upon enting the school is to agree to follow biblical standards especially where sinful activities are concerned.

In some of these terms and condition it is spelled out that the student would be expelled so it all depends on what she agreed to.

She does merit forgiveness and support, she has a hard path ahead of
her as a single mother and I do wish her all the best and hope.
But sin also has consequences so I think the
private Christian school got the right balance. What they did isn't that drastic,
she won't suffer that much she will get over not going to her graduation and
not bern in the group she was before.

This whole children out of wedlock thingy, is now society's norm,
something just waved to one side as "oh it's just one of those things" but it
causes lots of social, financial and emotional problems, both for parents
and child.

If a private christian school can't take a stand against it in some way,
then who will?

Flip it around if it had been a Muslim school and Muslim student, it would never have
even got in the news at all. Why, because the Muslim socieity would feel shame and
no one would have drawn attention to it. But weak Christians are suppose to
just fall over and not stand up for what is right aren't they?

I agree.. fornication is against the will of God.. But the question in the OP in this thread was about the response of the school to her actions.. The question was not about her actions..
