City of Houston demands sermons from pastors, so they can inspect them.

It's things like this that really compel me to believe that homosexuality is for more than a disordered "sexual orientation", but that it reflects a truly reprobate soul. It's just incredible that the city would demand preachers turn over sermons. When has this kind of thing ever happened before in America?

I feel sorry for people who have homosexuality. To me its hard to pray for them when they are so in everyones face demanding their own way, and no opinion except theirs is acceptable. It seems like to me if anyone is truly born with homosexuality it is a birth defect. Normally birth defects are treated with surgery, medicine or anything that will help or add to quality of life for the afflicted individual, but people with homosexuality are indulged and now even encouraged to continue living that way. There are even some churches in my town that openly accept the homosexual lifestyle as being normal and they think they are going to heaven. They must all have a reprobate mind like the bible says so it could be to late for them? Shouldnt I be able to take a child out in public without worrying about them seeing homosexual couples, its not fair to normal people having to put up with this. God Bless us and them and praying their minds will be healed.

[h=2]Amendment I[/h]Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.

"Texas handed over the the devil for how they treated God's remnant" should be a more appropriate title. I have talked to so many people who have recently fled from Texas, and due to my horrific experiences with many 'professed' believers in Texas, I would say God is dishing up a plate of judgment. A state elects a leader based on God's judgment. This is God's doing!

While you know I agree with you and this constitutional right I will also say.....Truth be know, this freedom no longer exists...To preach against lesbian, homosexuals etc. is now a hate crime to some extent....When businesses are fined and or told they have to sell wedding cakes to gay couples and or sued in a court of law to the extent that Christian businesses must close the door pretty much states it all....

Yea, when evil men and seducers wax worse and worse while society rejects Christian principles the end is near....Sexual immorality and sexual perversion is the proverbial straw that breaks the camels back, and as this country embraces such activities we can know that God has given most up to a reprobate mind void of judgment, and the wrath of God lies around the corner for sure....

Unfortunately, many have no clue or belief that this nation can fall and or be judged by God...yea...judgment begins at the house of God and this country has more churches (so-called) than any other nation on the planet and truth be known...we are not very godly!

The progressives will have no problem with complying but it will present a challenge for those set to defend the truth.

If you do not stand for something you will fall for anything.

What should it profit a man if he should gain the whole world and lose his own soul? What shall a man give in exchange for his soul?

The mayor is a sodomite. She is pushing the issue to forward her personal agenda.

It's truly amazing that such a tiny minority of people (less than 1% of the population) can make everything revolve around themselves.

And she probably got her cue when the Supreme Court passed on the issue of gay marriage.

The Supreme Court, 5-4, already ruled that homosexuals have a constitutional right to have the government recognize their unions as marriages. Remember back when California's Prop 8 was overturned? That applies to all 50 states, all it takes is filed lawsuits to make it effective in all 50 states.

Then every left-of-center state legislator, and in this case the lesbian mayor and city council, pass "anti-discrimination" laws that effectively ban the people from deciding for themselves what kind of behavior they consider to be moral and immoral.

The widespread practice of homosexuality is the result of God turning His face from a nation and allowing that nation's slide into utter depravity. It is symptomatic of a people who have willingly rejected and mocked God's laws.

For they exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen. For this reason God gave them over to degrading passions; for their women exchanged the natural function for that which is unnatural, and in the same way also the men abandoned the natural function of the woman and burned in their desire toward one another, men with men committing indecent acts and receiving in their own persons the due penalty of their error.…Romans 1:25-27

Great King,
Help your servants navigate the barren waste of morality in this culture. Help us in keeping our eyes on You and by doing so shed Your saving light in the darkness. In Jesus' precious name, Amen.
