Its bad enough that the political groups stir up race tensions, how ever they can..its even worse when "Christians" try to cause division in the body of Christ by race baiting.
All the more reason Christians need to stand up in strength and unity in getting rid of this flag which of old time is a symbol of rebellion and racism and in this time is being used as a tool of intimidation against Christians.

It's not all that strange considerring why the Confederacy was formed and defeated.

It is bad enough that flag represents slavery and racism, treachery and betrayl. Now though it seems to be acquiring a new meaning of direct hostility and intimidation against Christians.
Treachery and betrayal -- you left wing nut bags and your propaganda talking points. You're excellent at making sure racial animosity will always exist for future generations. God forbid people unite! But I digress, I know you love PP.

The position of a Christian is that race does not separate us in Christ...not to follow along with the world and its desire to cause strife and contention... there are real issues of race that Christians should be outspoken about...but this issue is just about race baiting.

I am not a liberal.

It is true though that the Confederacy and its flag represents treachery and betrayl, for the Confederacy literally betrayed and attacked America. That's all there is to it, history ain't pretty, but it cannot be changed. Don't know what PP is, not the most keen on internet acronyms.

May God unite the Christians in these times of turbulence.

I agree, therefore say I that is all the more reason Christians need to stand up in strength and unity in rejection of this symbol of treachery, rebellion, racism, and recently increasingly used as a tool of intimidation against Christians.

The confederate rag.
I wouldn't make it a religious issue though

Why should there be "black" churches? Does Christ have a different message for blacks?
Dividing churches, based on race, always seemed stupid to me.
What would happen if a white church were to spring up?
Spring up?

Look this guy who posted this thread ...post over and over these types of threads, just to stir and provoke contention...anyone can see this is just a thread to race bait.

Now we could post threads all day long about black racism and attacks on whites...you know why we don't? Because it would only serve to separate believers on this forum. If someone wants to make a real thread on a sincere issue of race..then I believe most all of us could see the truth in Christ...but that's not what the poster of this thread is after...he wants contention and strife on this issue...also known as race baiting!

Unfortunately it is being used as a tool of intimidation against Christians recently, so whether you and I like it or not, it is a religious issue.

I suppose we have only two viable options; to avoid the issue and be as cold and unmoving as ice or to confront the issue with zeal and burn through it like an inferno.

Nay, royalscott does not race bait, he is merely positing to us the news. This sort of thing is indeed news and it is quite well known and being discussed widely mostly in our nation, but even some others. It also pertains to Christianity as the two most recent stories regarding the flag of the traitors involves the attack on the church in South Carolina, and now as a tool of intimidation against the Christians in this more recent story.

No clearly he does...and I think its time to just ignore his threads from now on...

Ro 16:17 ¶ Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them.

Show me where he has race-baited. I have read his comments and I see no race baiting at all. All he did was post the news as it is being told in Britannia. The news is not very good, but it is there nonetheless. We should not be blind to it but should be aware of these issues.

1 Corinthians 6:3

The bottom line is that Christ's message is the same for everyone.
It's ridiculous to have churches based on race, period. For the record, I've never seen a KKK church.

I agree with you that we should not have churches based on race !!!

I was just stating how the KKK do not accept blacks in their churches and they do consider themselves to be Christian.
I however do not believe they are for any group that teaches a message of hate or discrimination is not of God.

clearly you have a problem with the world news topics that are in current view to the whole world at this present time.

strange your bible quote is outside the lines of love your enemy. ( all i posted was a news topic. )
yet the only one that is causing division of some sort, is your posts. (against me. )

even the bible said, a dog returns to its own vomit, and by there fruits etc slander, hate , you will see them.

however i have a rite to stand up to slander, or lies that are directed at me. feel free to stop reading the news topic i post.
keep your rants and humming and hawing to your self. again i never wrote the news topics.

i never caused them to happen in the world. or will stop others from talking about the news. etc

I don't believe that churches are based on race I just think most churches tend to be all the same ethnicity. My church is predominantly black. I am one of the few white people there people of all ethnicities are welcome but it just happens to be mostly black

Thing is, that white folks are mostly going to "white" churches, and black folks are mostly going to "black" churches. Has been like that since God knows when. It aint got nothing to with racism, it's just an observation. Still, it is sad to observe how southern symbols are under attack again, it has been like that ever since reconstruction, and I reckon it aint gonna end untill "southern" is over and done with. The southern way must be a thorn in somebodys side to cause all this ruckus...

ok i will say this out of respect. we are not in the usa account of history. we are in the account of a god through jesus christ. so take your eyes out of human history, and start believing in a god that dose not need mankind , or jesus angels would have been deployed. basement of history is like the sower of the seed, it need a soil to find first.to grow. and then the truth sets you free. lol
