Really? People might acknowledge it's not the transgendered people doing the raping but they are "blaming" them for the cause of the problem... If it weren't for A, then B wouldn't happen. In other words: If transgendered people couldn't use the restrooms they identify as, then non trans people can't pretend to be trans and they wouldn't be raping/sexually violating people.

Now that "logic" is ridiculous. Trans are separate from the non trans who are pretending and raping...
No, they are blaming the desire of the xyz group's agenda to force acceptance through government intervention and legal enforcement. Just as they did with those innocent bakers who were denied their right to conduct business as they saw fit.

reminds me of "the trees". "The maples formed a union, and demanded equal rights, they say the oaks are just lofty, and they grab up all the light...............now the trees are all kept equal, by hatchet ax and saw."

I'm not opening the gate though. I'm saying, the gate isn't for you or me TO open. Continue to leave it to the businesses to decide how to go about their restrooms. It's their gate after all... We don't have to go visit them... but if we do visit (go through their gate), we should abide by their rules.
But the xyz's won't accept that. They want to force all businesses to cater to their desires.

And normally that would be right. My point is we dont change the whole world for people with mental disorders.

If it's really about the agenda, then I would 100% agree. The LGBTQ community want their cake and ice cream. They want tolerance, but then they want the government to make the baker bake the gay cake.

I'm against the LGBTQ community using the government to force businesses to allow trans people to go into whichever restroom they identify as. It goes against my belief that the business should continue to have that right (as the current status quo is).

I don't think it's all about the LGBTQ's agenda though. They are wanting to do the same thing the LGBTQ community is doing only in the polar opposite. Both the LGBTQ community and their opposers WANT the government to cater to their demands, bypassing the right of the business. In that, they have something in common.

Right, I'm on board with not changing the status quo to accommodate anyone either . A trans person can go someplace else if a private place doesn't allow him/her to go into a particular restroom.

Be it hereby known unto all men (and women) that most heartedly does my opinion side with yours wherein the concern for the discretion of individual shopkeepers to prevail falls and resides in this and other internal esoteric matters.

Yup. You're absolutely correct. I get the feeling if there were a couple of gay bakery owners and a straight guy came in asking for a cake inscribed, "Pray the Gay Away!!!" they wouldn't be all up in arms if the owners refused to make it. They might even use the argument, "It's their business, not yours!" It just doesn't apply when it's contrary to what they want/believe.

This is the entire foundation of the current political climate. The Dims refuse and fight the long-accepted American way of politics, while the Cons honor it and abide with a situation they certainly don't like.

That's ridiculous. I've never heard even one person claiming that.
Yeah, but haven't you heard? If you make something up and then keep repeating it, it becomes truth.

Transgender is a mental issue. There is no need to change bathrooms. There are people who have a mental disorder where they want to cut off limbs. A doctor will not do that. Why? Because its a mental disorder. The same as trans people. There is no reason to change bathrooms. Again, you open the gate for one then you'll have to do for all when the next thing comes down the pike.
Actually, doctors really are cutting off genitalia for people with this mental disorder now.

Actually, most of the homosexual community doesn't want special treatment. They wanted (and got) fair treatment. It's a smaller group within the group. (And I'm still hoping you can tell me where I misunderstood you.)

I went back and checked, and you're being obtuse. The name was brought up,you did something entirely differently. You're bringing Trumps past into it and derailing the thread. We're not talking about his past and your dislike of him. We're talking about what Cuomo said and the safety of women and children in bathrooms. So I'd appreciate if you'd stick to the subject. If you want to talk about other things start and new thread and we'll comment over there.Thanks.

Safety? The women in the beauty contests specifically said they did not feel safe with Trump in their rooms. Therefore since safety is your concern my reply was on topic. As was said above (post #20), "perversion knows no bounds" and several people (including yourself) posted a like to that comment. Trump's admission that he entered a room with undressed females would rate as one such example in most people's minds.

We're not going back over the subject. You're dislike of Trump can be shared in another thread. The OP was about what Cuomo said and Im asking you to stick to the topic and not drag it into another "I hate Trump" thread. Start your own thread for that.If you have something to say about what Cuomo said then share.Thanks.
