They are going to keep throwing mud at Trump and hope something sticks... It wont work
I read an interview yesterday with Trumps wife. She even agrees that he shouldn't say some of the things he says. She also stated that if he wins then he will calm down. I don't like some of the things Trump says. I don't like his attitude a lot. I don't like the mud slinging, but when it comes down to him and Hillary he is the lesser of two evils. Yet I won't bash any republican candidate. I seriously cannot do that. Not allowed. Not even on here, and you've even seen it.... Because I haven't spoke. Negative of a candidate I've been accused of a lot of false things by "Christians". Interesting huh?

im in Tennessee, right on the Kentucky border . you cant go anywhere without seeing at least 5 or six Confederate flags..its sad
One thing puzzles me...whenever you've spent all your childhood in the South, people flying Stars and Bars, living life the Southern way in general...why would a lot of people keep saying yall just have to take that flag down because THEY dont like it? How can folks be thinking that being forced to abandon a life style is just like snap? You can like it or not, the Flag is a part of the heritage no matter what people from the outside keep telling us.

Because the Dixie flag is a symbol of betrayal and treachery. It's the ensign of a rogue regime that attacked America and caused more death to Americans than in any war up to this point. On top of that it's also a symbol of racism. Pretty much everyone else in the country knows this except for the Southerners.

Well, but the Flag is a fact, it exists. Or maybe yall will send down a Yankee Anti Stars and Bars Unit to set things straight;)

Right, just like its a fact that it stands for treachery and racism. As for sending a unit to straighten this out, I'm down for that, but I think it be more beneficial for the Southerners to restore their honor by taking it down themselves as with the case of Nikki Haley of South Carolina last year.

It's because they are blinded by their racist bias, and only see the Flag in one light.........the Flag represents far more than the sad fact that it is related to the racist past of the South........it more correctly represents (to Southern people) States Rights, and refusing to bow to an overreaching/overbearing Central/Federal Government.

The funny thing is, these same people ARE THE ONES who are SCREAMING against the current Federal Government, and condemning those in office in Washington.

Is the Flag tainted with the racist past of the South? Yes. But if that is the STANDARD we must use to do away with the Flag............THEN someone BETTER look to see what the US FLAG is TAINTED WITH. Old Glory, which I love, is tainted with some truly horrible acts that were committed under it.

Don't believe me? Check out the History of the Native Americans, or maybe the Internment Camps..........and others.

They hate the South, Southern people, and yet they live under a Flag JUST AS TAINTED. Too, too funny.

I have great respect for the South where love of God, family, country and hard working values takes precedence over the North's current love affair with atheism and socialism. Yet be that as it may, I know my Black brethren are hurt when they see the Dixie flag, and because of their hurt, I support taking the flag down and leaving it in the past.

And do you extend the same sympathy to those of us of Cherokee blood? :)

(just wondering)

Yes, I do understand that the Confederate Flag symbolizes one thing to some...........BUT it also symbolizes other things to others.........

Why not just DO AWAY with all Flags, Monuments, Statues and such.......that way.....no one will be offended.....oh, wait, that would probably offend just as many ---- if not more........sigh

As much as I detest the Confederate flag , I don't want to take anyone freedoms away to flying this flag. I live on the Tennessee and Kentucky border and here rednecks like to drive around in black neighborhoods waving Confederate flags deliberately to provoke them. This only strengthens my resolve that this flag is a symbol of racism and racial intimidation. On the Kentucky side, the police have advised them that since Kentucky has a Stand Your Ground law, it would be wise for them not to make any threats

The confederate flag is not really part of southern heritage, but more part of history. People wouldn't say the nazi flag is part of German heritage would they?
Quit frankly, we could get in a huge argument over how terrible a piece of cloth is and still not get down to the root of the issue. Believe it or not MOST southerners don't own a confederate flag. I never have.

I don't get it....I am supposed to vote for the candidate of my choosing. But if a KKK member endorses him, I shouldn't vote for him. If someone claims he is native to another country, I shouldn't vote for him.If someone claims he's a liar, I shouldn't vote for him. If someone claims he's racist...... BUT if people I like and respect like him then it's okay for me to vote for him........how exactly is that my choice again?
These debates are filled with so much anger, judgements and hate, it's clear to me for whom we should vote.....Gumby :p

Its a battle flag...we kicked the norths backside in every battle until our bullets ran out :(

I don't like a lot of things ..the Islamic flags in general is just horrible ..but no one has a right to outlaw them.

And anyone that claims to be so worked up about slavery and don't speak out against islam that has millions of black slaves this very day..are just hypocrites.

First of all, bullcrap, the South got smashed, just ask Atlanta.

Second of all, we should absolutely outlaw the Islamic flags with their demonic oath on it. Throw it in the fire with the rebel traitor flag.

Third of all, actually I agree. Guess who sold the confederacy most their slaves?

Clearly you have never read a history book... Robert E Lee whipped every northern army for two years ..while he had bullets

Slavery has been a part of every group in history ... blacks have own blacks ..millions of whites was slaves at the start of the 1900s in Russia ... but today we have millions of slaves mostly black own by muslims in Islamic countries and none of these hypocrites that carry own about the battle flag care.

Lol yea they ran out of bullets because the Americans cut off their supply routes and trampled the heathen armies to the traitorous deaths they deserved.

Right slavery has always been part of human history, still is particularly debt and wage slavery. Nevertheless, the particular institution of slavery in the old south was barbaric and against the Bible and against the code of just basic civilized men.

The answer to where they bought most their slaves from, it's the muslims. The muslim empires conquered most of Africa and most the African slaves were dispersed throughout muslim lands from North Africa to Indonesia, but they still made a good bit of money selling them to the Europeans and Johnny Rebel. That's why this form of slavery still exists in muslim dominated lands cause it never went away.

Actually here's a good article I read a few years ago about modern slavery.

Slave master becomes an abolitionist - CNN.com
