I get the isolationist sentiment and this sentiment. If you look at it a lot of Europeans don't want our intervening either. Yet America is the vanguard of the West, America is the most powerful nation currently (though mindful this can always change). America is very tied to Europe in many ways culturally, historically, socially, racially, and even religiously and America and Europe are the strongholds of Christianity in our time, and in times past. We can't totally stand to the side and let Europe descend again into darkness.
I believe with stories such as lady Coby posted in the other topic about the refugee converts, even if they are smaller in scope than the mass protests and crime waves, that it is proof there is still hope yet in Jesus for Europe, and in a larger view many places and peoples also. The hour grows late for all the lands of the world though indeed we must be mindful. We're living in a rare century where empires and nations are on the very brink. While it is true this world must end one day, we're still here today, and we'll probably be here tomorrow. All is not yet lost, never give up hope, praise Jesus.

I don't really want to get into the "us and them" mentally in respect of
the crime rate in various countries, but here is the 2014 stats for the
US.

The truth of the matter is that the bible mentions an increase in evil
in the last days. I don't think any country will be immune from this.
Instead of inflammatory comments surly it would be better for Christians
everywhere to pray, spread the gospel, to support each other and to be
sure of their own right standing with God.
